hello, i am a medical student from India 4th year, studying in China. i want to know that can i take transfer from Chinese University to another country?? what will be the procedure! and which country can accept! which countrys degree would be valid?

Sohamsengupta8 29th Jun, 2022

Hello student,

As you have mentioned that you are in your 4th year and studying in China in the course of MBBS which is actually 5.5 years course including 6th months of internship. As per the rule of MCI we know that one can transfer their college in one country itself one cannot change their college one country to another. The first thing is possible under some circumstance and the clearance of the colleges. but obviously one student who is studying in China cannot go to the other country the same here and with same position  in the course ,that's why my advice is that you just complete one more year in China to be eligible for your course certificate

On what basis is the country of posting decided ? ( i.e. how is it decided that a person works in india or abroad, and if abroad how is the country decided) do you have a higher chance of getting posted in a country if you know their national language? (i.e japanese for japan, chinese for china) !?!

Shivanshu 22nd Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant!

Hope you are doing great! There are many factors which decide our posting in foreign countries ,also one of the major is language which is must we must know the language where we will work.Another is demand ,if your demand will be more in any country for something then you have to go their ,here language doesn't matter because English is common language, another factor is relation with the country ,if our national relation good with a country the high chances for our people to go their for job.Hence these factors decide Posting in other countries.

Thanking you!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Apr, 2020
Pitcher plant is the plant that traps and feeds on the insects. This is a carnivorous plant and its leaves are called pitfall traps. The leaves are in the shape of a cup and are slippery to the sides. The leaves trench in a way that the trapped insects cannot climb out and escape. These leaves follow a prey-traping mechanism.

Hi.. am doing my mbbs 3rd yr now in China.. total duration of my course is 5yrs + 1yr of internship... when will i be eligible to give fmge...? In 4th yr or 5th yr or after internship??

Srijika Bhattacharyya 18th Feb, 2020
Hello,
If your college is recognised and your medical degree is recognised in India you can give the FMGE exam after you have finished your internship in China and have obtained your degree certificate.
After passing FMGE you have to do a compulsory one year internship in India after which you can practice or choose to give NEET PG.
Hope this helps.

I have completed my MBBS in China in Xiamen university in 2011. In 2013 I got married. In 2014 I cleared fmge and did internship in osmania hospital. After that I went to Qatar with my husband for 2 years. I got degree on Sept 2017. Next month Im flying to US withm eligible for applying usmle

Animesh Vats Student Expert 17th Feb, 2020

Hi,

Well I would like to tell you that after MBBS program ends a doctor can apply for USMLE exam . In USA once you are done with your studies, you are required to give USMLE exam which is organised in three levels and once you qualify all the three levels then you are allowed to get into residency program but finding one is really difficult. USMLE can not guarantee you residency rather it will only help you in allowing you to go search for residency in US hospitals. Same goes for international students as well but the level of difficulty is a lot and getting residency is the most difficult thing to do.

I hope my answer helps.

All the best.
