Dear student,

The notification for CISF constable fireman recruitment through sports quota was published in April 2022. The registration process for this recruitment has been closed.

And even if you wait for the next recruitment through sports quota, your state level certificate has no eligibility. According to guidelines a candidate claiming sports quota for team game must fulfill any one of the following

Should have represented the nation at an international championship

Should have won a medal in the national championships for Sr./ Jr. Category

Should have represented a state or equivalent unit in National games

Should have won medal in all India University championship

Should have won gold medal in National school games

Then only you would be eligible for applying through sports quota

hey there,

Yes, if you have 'A' or 'B' grade in 'C' certificate then NCC 'C' certification provides you 10-15 bonus marks in paramilitary forces recruitment i.e. BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB etc.

Also,If you have NCC 'C' certificate then your written test for the post of Soldier GD will be waived off.

Educational qualification

  • The candidate must be intermediate passed or,
  • The candidate must possess a senior secondary certificate (10+2).
  • the candidate must possess the required qualification by the government-recognized university.
  • English typing with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute (wpm).

Candidates who are applying for the CISF recruitment 2020 should of Indian citizens.

Number of attempts -

Every candidate appearing at the examination who is otherwise eligible shall be permitted 3 attempts at the examination for all the different posts under CISF recruitment 2020.

candidates applying for CISF ASI recruitment 2021 must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university.

that the candidates will be selected on the basis of service records, written examination, physical standard test, physical efficiency test (PET), detailed medical exam.

The final selection will be based in the merit list subject to the provision that the candidate belonging to the general category should have obtained a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks out of total 200 marks. Those belonging to SC/ST category will have to secure at least 45 percent.

The written exam will have OMR based question paper and consist of multiple-choice questions. Candidates will get a cumulative time of three-and-a-half-hour to finish the paper.

The question paper will have four sections - General Intelligence and reasoning, General awareness & Professional Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Comprehension and communication skill. Each section will be of 50 mark

Here is the ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for CISF female Candidates  :

Candidates should have passed intermediate and posses the certificate of same .

Candidates must have the required qualification by the government recognized university.

Hindi typing with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.

The age limit is 18 years-23 years .

The candidates must attempt written exam Conducted by Union Public  Service  Commission  .

Once candidates clear the exam then others tests like physical fitness test,  trade test etc need to be given .

Hello Simran,

CISF stands for Central Industrial Security Force and is a Central Armed Police Forces headed by Ministry of Home Affairs, India.

The age limit is 18 years to 23 years. The candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board. The average salary for CISF is Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 70,000.

The candidates must write CISF Written exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. It is conducted once in a year. After clearing the exam there will be other tests like Physical Fitness Test, Trade Test, etc and documentation.

The CISF Head Constable 2021 Selection Process comprises a Physical Standards Test or the PST. It can be defined as a qualitative or quantitative procedure that determines one or more physical characteristics of a certain person.

In this stage, the male and female candidates shall be shortlisted only if they meet the specific height & chest measurements. However, candidates must note that the chest requirement is not applicable in the case of the females. Those who shall be deemed fit in this process shall step up further in the CISF Head Constable 2021 Recruitment process.

Dear student,

CISF full form is Central Industrial Security Force. It is Central Armed Police Forces in India. It is headed by Union Ministry of Home Affairs and headquarters is at New Delhi. The CISF safeguards Delhi Metro, government buildings and gives airport security. Application form will be available in official website cisf.gov.in.
Application should be sent through email to conserned CISF Unit. In total 2000 vacancies are there throughout India, out of which 63 posts are for SI, 187 posts are for ASI, 424 posts are for Head Constable GD, 1326 posts are for Constable GD.

CISF Eligibility Criteria:
  • The age limit is 18 years to 23 years and age relaxation is there for SC, ST and OBC as per rules and regulations.
  • The candidates must pass 10 th standard or 12 th standard from a recognised Board.
  • Nationality should be Indian.
  • No limit in number of attempts.
  • For other CISF higher posts maximum age limit is 35 years and upto 5 years relaxation for reserved candidates.

The salary of CISF based on the role is mentioned below.
  • SI - Rs. 40,000 salary per month
  • ASI - Rs. 35,000 salary per month
  • Head Constable - Rs. 30,000 salary per month
  • Constable - Rs 25,000 salary per month
