As per the recent information around 1.5 lakh students appeared for DCET from civil branch this year. Do not worry about the number of students appeared. If you wrote your paper well you will clear it for sure. Maximum strength is just a small part required for calculation of cut off.
The best college for civil engineering is JAIPUR NATIONAL UNIVERSITY (https://www.jnujaipur.ac.in/) .

Hey,
The below given placement information are based on the details taken by the passed out CE branch students from the respective colleges.
SIRT -
Various companies like TCS, L&T, Capgemini, and Infosys, etc., visit the campus from all over India to conduct campus drives. The college also provides training and internships in the middle of our course. This institution has a training and placement cell which guide students to get placed. Overall, the institution is good.
SISTEC -
The placements are very good and one of the best Institutions for the placement. You will get an excellent placement opportunity to be placed in good and valuable companies. The companies like TCS, Vodafone, Capgemini visit our college for recruitment. So overall we have good college placement, and the placement is very good for the students. Non technical companies that visit this college are not much.
Both the colleges are decent it's your decision to make which college is convenient for you.

Good luck!
