Civil Engineer
Dear aspirant, last year closing rank went to max 2377 about for the course of ECE and for civil course it went to near about 2400 rank for general category. As per your rank and as you are from EWS category, you can easily get a seat there of your choice.
Hope it helps.
All the best:)
Yes. ISRO does recruit Civil Engineers, but in relatively smaller numbers. Say like five to ten an year. I think this year they have not called for Civil Engineers so far, so keep your eyes open. Notifications will be available in ISRO website. Once you get through mostly you will join the Construction and Maintenance divisions. There are openings in almost every center. FYI reservations under government norms are applicable in case of Civil engineers.
I was talking about BE/BTech graduates. Now there is another option after BE in Civil. Do your ME/MTech in Structural Engineering. I think work wise, it would be more challenging as well.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. Congratulations for your results. See there are chances for you to get a seat in DAVV Indore with EI or ECE branch as though you got civil in first round second upgradation but also second round is the last round so competition would be tough though still you can expect a seat there. Also admission depends on various factors such as category, home state quota, branch selection, number of students applied, etc.
Hope this helps.
