Civil Engineer
Generally, the municipal corporation provides a job offer to civil engineers for the position of assistant or junior civil engineers. Civil engineers design, build, supervise, operate, and maintain construction projects and systems in the public and private sector, including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment. They also oversee the execution of their own projects sometimes as well and so they must possess management skills.
Hope this helps and all the best for your future endeavors!!
Dear Aspirant
Yes definitely you can work in Bihar as an engineer as you can do job as an engineer in the good companies whose branches are there in patna. You can also be posted as senior engineer in Indian Railway in Bihar, so there are lots of job opportunities available for engineers in bihar. So you don't have to worry about these things and just need to concentrate on your engineering.
Good luck for your future :)
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
It would be better to give yourself a try. May be you have the potential to score good in jee to get admission in btech in top IIT and NiT only , if you are solely interested in engineering. But if you're not then you may proceed with taking admission into any of the pvt colleges.
If you are from general quota then there is no chance of civil engineering in any college .
Please mention your quota too , so that we can answer better.
Please try also in private colleges as chances in government colleges are bleak.
Best of luck

Dear,
Civil engineers hold about 303,500 jobs so its not like there are less opportunities for civil engg students.Civil engineers work in a variety of locations and conditions. When working on designs, civil engineers may spend most of their time indoors in offices. However, construction engineers may spend much of their time outdoors at construction sites monitoring operations or solving onsite problems. So,there are many jobs available I would say. Many jobs offered are basically
1) Engineering Project Managers.
2) Senior Civil Engineer.
3) Engineering Managers.
4) Civil Engineer.
5) Architect.
6) Engineering Inspectors and Regulatory Officers.
7) Civil Engineering Drafter.
These are some highly paid jobs.Graduate Civil Engineers in India drew average entry level salary of Rs.264,000 per annum.
Hope this helps! Good luck.
