I couldnt qualified in nata this year and my jee mains paper 2 rank is not that much high so i cant get admission in architecture this year So what can i do? Civil engineering, Interior design or Go for architecture next year Plz can any one help me out of this ??

nilangemeghna 10th Oct, 2021

Hello aspirant,

If your jee mains paper 2 rank is low then you can try for spot rounds, there is a chance for you to get a seat but not surely.....

If you are very interested in Architecture, you can get admission in a private college....

If you have problems with fees, you can prepare for the exam next year....

Civil Engineering is also a good choice..... it's about construction and planning, you can further specialise in architecture but if you are not interested in it, it will not benefit you at all....

Interior designing is good for those who have interest and idea about it....It also has a good career but interior designing is a matter of inner home setup.....and architecture is a complete different course.

These three choices are good but you have to choose a choice considering your interest and future career .... it's all up to you.

Hope this helps

All the best for your Future !

divya 9th Oct, 2021

Hello,

Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:

  • Overall ranking
  • Infrastructure
  • Location/accessibility
  • Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
  • Placement opportunities

The preference order you should consider is:

  1. SVNIT ECE
  2. NITW CE
  3. DAIICT
  4. IIIT BRC

I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website.

Good luck, hope it helps!!

Median package -

GNDEC Ludhiana -3.60 lakhs

UIET Kurukshetra-3.50 lakhs

Exam accepted for admission into both the colleges is JEE Main.

https://dqxeclau.top/compare-colleges?college=2465-2282-course=54792-53120

GNDEC Civil Engineering Department -

They have good placement drives and internship opportunities. There is also a good training and placement cell in the college. But there is less companies visiting for civil engineering as conpared to other branches.

UIET Kurukshetra-

Mechanical Engineering-

Many top companies like infosys and wipro comes to campus for recruitments and gives placement of about 4 lacs per anum. Other companies also comes but for mechanical companies like adani etc.

which is best Civil engineering or mechanical engineering?

Vedang Ranmale 10th Oct, 2021

Hello student,

There is no such thing as some branch is better than the other. Your choice depends on your inclination towards that branch and its related aspects.

Civil engineering is like its name relating to all the infrastructures and projects of civil interests such as buildings, bridges, roadways, etc. You can do the following masters after civil engineering:

  • Construction Engineering and Management
  • Remote Sensing
  • Structural Engineering
  • Transportation Engineering
  • Geoinformatics
  • Infrastructure Engineering and Management.
  • Geothechnical Engineering.
  • Environmental Engineering.

Whereas, mechanical engineering is based on mechanical aspects of any industry such as automation, vehicle, machines, aviation, etc. You pursue the following masters options after mechanical engineering:

  • Mechatronics
  • Nanotechnology
  • Robotics
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Aerospace engineering
  • Missile & Defense Weapons Technology
  • Rocket Propulsion & Thermal Engineering

I hope this helps, All the Best!

i got 42 marks in APPGCET civil engineering what could be my rank approximately

Hi
for Engineering & Medical Program in Andhra Pradesh State. Eligibility for EAMCET Examination is 10+2 passed with 45% aggregate marks in Chemistry, physics as Mandate subject and Mathematics and Biology as Optional subject.

AP EAMCET rank used to have 25% weightage of 12th standard marks(IPE) excluding languages and 75% weightage of EAMCET marks. But According to Recent News of EAMCET Examination There will be no IPE Mark considered as weightage for EAMCET Rank.

As you have secured 42 marks in AP EAMCET, Which is just qualified marks, Your rank would range in between 90,000 1,20,000. This ranks are state level ranks and there is no special ranks for SC/ST or BC categories, State level Ranks are considered in Counselling, when applying in college your reservation matters.

any one studying in andhra university civil engineering? can u share ur experience

Rohit Magdum 7th Oct, 2021
Dear aspirant,

As far as my observation goes, AU got quite good facilities.

First thing that comes to my mind is huge VS Krishna library. I attended IITB for my PG but library there is no match to VS Kirshna library in any aspect.
Academic facilities, and hostels are quite good. Food is also quite ok at that cost.
Coming to the sports facilities, we got very good facilities but the problem is that most of the students are not even aware about their existence for a long time

Hopefully this will help you.
Thank you.
