I can choose in class 11 Astrology

vyshnava kumar 9th Apr, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing great.

So with regard to your query, NO you cannot choose astrology in your 11th standard itself. You need to complete your 10+2 for the purpose of doing astrology course. In 12th and 11th you have to choose either PCB or PCM only.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you.

i have got 73 percent in 10th and had D grades throughout the schooling period..and then got studious in class 11 and then i got 90% and havent written the class 12 exams yet...am i eligible for good colleges overseas? would they consider me? if not what am i supposed to do to strengthen my resume

Moumoyee Chakraborty 7th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant

Honestly dear when you will be applying for overseas institutions they might check your class 10th & 12th percentage and should focus on your GRE score and your social works. And you don't have to worry about your previously obtained grades, rather you incline your time on studied to get a commendable score in class 12th that strengthen your resume to a booster level.

Hope it helps!!!

what if iam registered in class 10 and iam going promote in class 11 in few months . so, what will be the syllabus

Aditi Singh 8th Jul, 2022

Class 11th is very crucial class in everyone's school life that can make or break your future. You have to choose your field and subjects wisely.

Talking about the syllabus, it is based on what course you choose to study in 11th and 12th. On taking admissions in class 11th, schools ask you to choose your stream if you want to study Science, Arts, or Commerce for further studies.

Now here, Science stream is further divided into PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Arts include the study of Humanities i.e. History, Geography, Polity, and such subjects. Commerce include subjects like Business Studies, Law, Statistics, and optionally Mathematics.

In whatever stream you take, you get to choose one subject of your interest or choice which may or may not belong to your particular stream and that is called Optional subject. Example : Taking PCB, you can take Mathematics as optional or taking Commerce, you can take Computers as your optional subject.

i want to became an IPS officer. i complete 10th class. Now , i was confused to choosing subject in class 11. So, please tell me what subjects i will read to prepare UPSC exam for class 11. i also said that, I am bad in English. So, Im sorry.

pdwords Student Expert 5th Apr, 2022
Hello,

The eligibility criteria for UPSC that is the examination ypu need to appear in order to become IPS Officer is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized University, you need to attain 21 years as on 1st August of the appearing year, see there is no such restrictions of belonging to specific stream in graduation when it comes to success for UPSC, if you go by previous year trends then candidates from medical, engineering, commerce stream qualify these exams, yes the advantage that humanities stream students at 10+2 level or those with graduation in subjects like Political Science, History, Geography, Sociology, Public Administration, Economics etc have is there is considerable overlap with the syllabus of GS and optionals, now your stream selection is quite vital, moreover you're young also, in case you have interest towards science or commerce stream and want to have back up plan you can consider the same, else if humanities stream interest you, and you wish to pursue the same in graduation, this path too can be followed, think clearly about your long term goals and then decide, as I said you don't need to belong to any specific stream to become eligible for UPSC, or even to qualify it.

can anyone tell me the chapter of class 11 physics that are easy but have high weightage in jee main? please

pri111nah 3rd Apr, 2022

Hi,

Below are the easy chapters have high weightage in JEE main :-

  1. Unit and Dimension. Errors.( scoring topic and fix questions)
  2. Work power energy.
  3. ROTATIONAL motion.
  4. THERMODYNAMICS. (Not easy , but very Important)
  5. SHM.
  6. Waves.

For the chapters I mentioned above, a short,  simple advice for you would be - focusing on theory, clear your concepts and for making your concepts strong practice as many as questions as you can. You can clear your basic and much needed concepts by referring NCERT and for JEE level questions practice your modules or any reference book and make sure you go through through past year questions asked in mains from these chapters.

Remember - JEE is a test which judges your conceptual clarity not your power of mugging things up.

Hope this helps.

All the best.

please can anyone tell me what are the physics chapter of class 11 that are very useful for class 12 ( jee main) ?

pri111nah 3rd Apr, 2022

Hi,

So weightage wise

  1. Rotational dynamics(Moment of inertia most imp.[1que.] , Total 1–2 ques.)
  2. SHM(moderately difficult 1 ques. )
  3. Thermal physics (Easy and scoring 2–3ques.)
  4. Kinematics(1 ques. Easy )
  5. Work, power and energy (2–3ques.)
  6. COM and collisions(1–2ques.)

By the way one TIP I would share is try practicing multi-concept ques. (like kinematics + electrostatics) more because JEE Mains is shifting towards testing you in multi chapters, you can verify this by looking JEE Mains papers of 2019 and 2020, 2021.

As well as refer to this list also :-

  1. unit and dimensions - you just have to cover the theory and go through past year questions
  2. Gravitation - there are two parts of this chapter ,one resembles with electrostatics and the other one is satellites and kepler laws .At least cover the second part
  3. Heat transfer - the concepts in this chapter are very limited and some times direct formula based questions are asked .
  4. Calorimetry- this chapter also have very limited concepts and can give you +4 in exam if you practise some questions
  5. waves and sound - The important topics in this chapter are doppler effect and some other direct formula based questions
  6. Fluid - go through basic concepts like continuity equation ,bernoullie equation. Some times you can encounter direct question on easy topics like continuity equation so cover the basics of this chapter.

Hope this helps.

All the best.

now i am in class 10 cbse board so in class 11 which sream and which subject should I choose to become CA

piyush singh 1st Apr, 2022

Hello CA aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. As per your query I would like to inform you that students with either science stream or Commerce stream can go for Chartered Accountant (CA) . But I would highly recommend you to go for Commerce with Mathematics . The stream includes subjects like Mathematics, Accountancy, Business Studies, English and Economics which would definitely make a very strong base to prepare for Chartered Accountant(CA).

At the end what all matters is your hardwork and dedication.

If you want to know more about Chartered Accountant follow the link: https://dqxeclau.top/careers/chartered-accountant

Hope it helps!!
