I did my 12th from NIOS. I had 7 subjects in my class 12th exam. How should I calculate the percent. Should I include overall 7th subject or not. I am filling the form of competitive exam.

Tanya Gupta 11th Feb, 2024

Hello,

When calculating your percentage for competitive exams or any other purposes, you typically include the marks obtained in all subjects that you appeared for in your Class 12th exams, including the overall marks for the 7th subject. So yes you have to add all the subjects.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

I did my 12th from CBSE. I had 6 subjects in my class 12th exam. How should I calculate the percent. Should I include the 6th subject or not. I am filling the form of competitive exam.

Hello aspirant,

Basically, the total marks scored in the exam and the total marks for which the exam was given are used to compute the percentage of marks.

As you have studied 6 subjects in your class 12th, your percentage will be calculated on the basis of your score in 5 subjects. But in those 5 subjects you must include your main subject along with English.

Thank you

Hope it helps you

Hello Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria of jee mains 2024 is as follows -

  1. Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University.
  2. Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects .
  3. Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

So if you want to become eligible for jee mains you need to score 75% in NIOS board too. And in JEE mains you can give a total of 3 attempts .

if i pass in regular hsc class 12th exam and fail in inprovement exam then what

Sajal Trivedi 7th Sep, 2023

Hello aspirant,

Please rest confident that your class XII grades from the previous year will be taken into account and your current year's scores won't be, even if it is extremely unlikely that you will fail the class XII improvement examination. This is why the exam is referred to as an improvement examination: either there is an increase, or rather an improvement, in the marks, or there is absolutely no change.

Now that your uncertainty has been dispelled, focus solely on your exam preparation in order to ensure that your performance on the improvement examination represents your passion, perseverance, and commitment to reaching your life's objective s.

Thank you

hope this information helps you.
