Coding
Dear Student,
NIT, Durgapur is an excellent institute both in terms of placements as well as research work. The batch year 2020-21, though in the pandemic, the highest package offered was 44 LPA by Microsoft. Many other eminent companies visit our college for placements, like Amazon, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Aditya Birla, Qualcomm, Reliance etc. The college has good facilities, and day by day, many more facilities are being added. Recently, the new building was built for biotech with laboratories and classrooms. Though electrical and mechanical departments have old labs, they are under renovation. The faculty members are very cooperative and highly qualified. They teach well and care about students' knowledge, not marks. Exams and curriculum are set in a way that no one gets exhausted with them. Moreover, the teachers do provide quality education. They also conduct extra classes to clear our doubts.
Overall. I would say yes, you can go for the institute. You can do minor course for coding too.
Hope this helped in sorting out your query.
All the Best!!
hi,
see you should definitely do coding classes or practices while you are doing your b.tech course. however there is various course like web development, object oriented programming, data science, data analytics etc. now see each of the course has their own job criteria and scope in future. it is difficult to predict particularly any of the course. so my suggestion is first familiar with each new technology from youtube , talk with your seniors teachers , do some free courses available in coursera, udemy then decide which of the course you want to study elaborately.
hope you understand.
See in the coming decades, Python will take up the market to more advanced level. So knowing about Python is a must. Now apart from this JAVA, C++ and C these languages will remain to be important for Software development, web development etc. So you should remain familiar to these four languages and try to build your concepts great. If you can build your concepts good and you can develop your skills then you will get ample number of jobs thats for sure.
You can follow the link provided below for a beginners guide to python:

Hello Aspirant,
Different domains like NIRF rank, placements, faculty, infrastructure, facilities, courses offered and student reviews of NIT Warangal and CBIT are as follows,
NIT Warangal
CBIT
But focusing on the domains CSE is ideal as fetching a job is not easy in Metallurgical field and the number of jobs are less and you have to attempt GATE if you want a jo in Govt. sector. It becomes hectic for you to manage two different domains parallelyif you opt Metallurgy. But if it is CSE it becomes easy for you to get along with coding. But atlast choosing a college is subjective as opting a good college is important but CBIT is also among the top colleges in Hyderabad. Make sure you opt a domain based upon your intersts.

Before telling you about hacking, let me brief you about coding first. Coding is a way or language used by programmers to talk and instruct the computers. A code briefs or instructs the computer about the actions it needs to perform. We can use the skill of coding to make websites and apps, process data, and perform lots of other cool and advanced things.
In today's era, coding is considered necessary because we live surrounded by computers, mobiles and laptops and all that has a lot to do with coding. Also, the number of career opportunities in coding fields has expanded due to the advancement of technology around us. And do remember, anyone can learn how to code! Learning to code makes it possible to imagine the things you want to make and actually build them.
To learn coding easily, first you need to choose your interest. Is it web development, android development, cybersecurity, data analyst, etc. After getting your interest, get familiarize with the technology, languages and frameworks required. Then, go with that languages to learn. As you have mentioned the term hacking, so I am assuming that you have interest in Cybersecurity field. So, search for corresponding languages and courses on udemy, coursera, great learning, etc.
Now, coming to what is hacking. Hacking refers to an attempt to exploit a computer system or a private network inside a computer. Simply, it is the unauthorised access to or control over computer network security systems for some bad or wrong purpose. There are two main factors used to determine what type of hacker an individual is: their motives and legality of their actions.
Based on these factors, Hackers are divided into three types—white, black, and grey hat.
1. Black hat hackers are normally responsible for creating malware, which is frequently used to infiltrate computerized networks and systems.
2. White hat hackers , also known as ethical hackers, they’re often employed or contracted by companies and governmental entities, working as security specialists looking for vulnerabilities.
3. Grey hat hackers are individuals who utilize aspects from black and white hat hackers, but will usually seek out vulnerabilities in a system without an owner’s permission or knowledge.
Happy Learning!
Hi,
As per the reviews of the students already studying in MIT WPU, Pune, the coding culture is excellent here. There are different clubs that organises event for competitive & innovative coding. The teachers also help in conducting new coding projects so there are lot of opportunities for students to explore their coding knowledge. There are also tech fests held to promote students to create their own coding programs.
Hope this helps.
I would if you have really good coding skills then you can get the placements at IIT. If you are student of Mathematics/Statistics/Physics then you will have coding in your core courses along with it you will have to develop some set of skills which you can choose in elective courses or in e certificate courses. But the main point is you should have good skills and if your skills are really good then you will be hired without any doubt.
