data anylist and data science are same or differnent. I want to do masteres in data anylist. Do we need coding for data science

Disha Devadiga 16th Jun, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Data analytics is more specific and concentrated than data science. Data Analytics requires acting upon data which is already available . . On the other hand, data science centres on discovering new questions that one might not have realized needed answering. Unlike data analytics which involves checking a hypothesis, data science tries to build connections and shapes the questions to answer them for the future.

Concerning skills, Data Analytics requires knowledge of intermediate statistics and excellent problem-solving skills along with excellence in Excel and SQL database to slice and dice data, experience working with BI tools like Power BI for reporting and knowledge of stats tools like Python, R or SAS. An engineering background is not necessarily needed to become a data analyst but having strong skills in statistics, databases, modelling, and predictive analytics comes as an added advantage. Data Science demands excellence in skills like Math, Advanced Statistics, Predictive Modelling, Machine Learning, Programming along with Proficiency in using big data tools like Hadoop and Spark, Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB, Experience with data visualization tools like QlikView, D3.js, and Tableau, Dexterity in programming languages like Python, R, and Scala.

Even though Data Analytics does not demand coding as a skill, Data Science does.

If data science is a home for all the methods and tools, data analytics is a small room in that house.

Hope this was helpful.

Should there be any other query, please feel free to ask.

Good Luck!

what is coding? what concept is used in creating these cods? what is required to become good at coding?

Aditi Yadav 15th Jun, 2021
Coding is a way of telling the computer what to do and how to do it. From nuclear power plants to self-driving cars, programming (or the program code) plays a crucial role. But remember: the computer is very fast machine. But it cannot think for itself. Thats where humans come into play. To teach the computer how to think.

Code can be classify several names like - Coders, Programmers, Developers, Computer Scientists, Software engineers. C learning to code is like learning a new language. Computers run on binary code - written in 1s and 0s which is very difficult for humans to work with. But just People can understand different languages computers can understand different languages like Java, Python, PHP, Perl and JavaScript, which converts our instructions into binary.

Coding has levels. low and high levels. Low level languages more closely resemble binary code while high level languages are easy to code. But most of the famous programming languages are high level languages. Consider C is a Low level language that is good for graphics and heavy applications, like games. Majority of the coding languages share similar basic features.

Best way to learn coding is to learn first programming language which computer knows( basic C programming ).

After learning some insights of C programming start programming small problems.

All the best !

is colleges duration time is enough for learning coding or I should start early from class 11 and 12

Navneet Singh 12th Jun, 2021
Hi aspirant,

If you have the passion and the resources then "START RIGHT NOW" , why wait for college? There's no right time for learning things, If you start today you will be way ahead in your coding skills when you enroll in your college. As you must be aware that the Union Ministry also has made coding mandatory for primary students in the NEW EDUCATION POLICY 2020 , so why wait?
Start with the fundamentals of coding , it doesn't matter which language are you working on. Once you master one you can apply it in other languages.
Let me help you with some of the basics,
For website development you must learn HTML & JAVASCRIPT .
C ++ and JAVA for desktop application.
For mobile application JAVA for ANDROID and SWIFT for iOS.
Always keep learning and never be satisfied with your knowledge, at the time when you will join college you will be ahead of your classmates.

All the best!!

Data Analytist in geramany. Do we have job offers in Geramny. And Data Analytist need coding. I am week at coding . I need some suggestion.

Akshita Dhiman 24th Jul, 2021

Hi there,

The job of a data analyst is to inspect big data sets, disintegrate them to get useful information out of the data given. All of this requires analyzing, modeling, transforming data, and that requires certain tools and programming languages are required.

Below are the skills required that a data analyst requires

SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Hadoop, Spark.

As you can see from above you do require certain programming skills. I'd you are completely new to this career path I suggest first research thoroughly about data analysis. You need to knack for data and understanding their patterns. Also, you should have a knack for data or data analysis.

Then start with the basics of SQL. It is pretty easily understood and is easy to grasp. You can find beginner courses are readily available on udemy, LinkedIn, W3schools.

You need not learn both Python and R. Start with learning R. It is again an easy one to learn. As you are weak in coding it is a better choice for you than Python.

After setting up your basics then go to the next level and start learning data analyzing and modeling tools like power BI, tableau, and so on.

There are several websites and you can study these individually, but I would suggest opting for an online course. It will save time and you will get a structured layout of the course. Online courses will be available on LinkedIn, udemy, Coursera, YouTube

There are numerous jobs for data analysts in Germany and on average, they are paid around USD 53,000. The highest paying country though is the United States.

I hope this information helps!

Thank you!

How we have to increase logical knowledge for coding please suggest me how to increase logical knowledge?

Aditi More 15th Jun, 2021

Hello Bhargav,

There is no such a rule for increasing knowledge for coding however, practicing is the key. Take real life problems and try to implement them in coding, you can watch YouTube videos ( they provide great help),take courses on the desired language you intend to learn.

You can practice coding online also, there are so many platforms provided you can search on Google. Basically, you need to practice  a lot, that's the only best way that will help you in improving coding language.

I hope this helps

Is Logical knowledge important in coding? I had less logical knowledge can i code easily?

ayanmukherjee045 8th Jun, 2021

Dear aspirant,

For any subject whether it is science subjects, mathematics or computers logical knowledge is needed. Without that you won't be able to proceed through the problem . Until and unless you would apply some logic to your code problem you won't be able to grab the solution behind it.

To increase your logical aspect, just study the problem sincerely and then practice your code on whichever platform you would be using. So, this is not a big deal. With time and practice you will be fluent with your programming language.
