College admission
Hello there, With a NEET PG 2024 rank of 38,110 and Karnataka domicile under the General Merit (GM) category, getting a clinical branch in a government college might be challenging, but not entirely impossible. The cutoffs for clinical branches in government colleges vary, and it generally depends on the specific branch and college. Chances for Clinical Branch in Government College:
If a government college is not feasible, pursuing a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in a good hospital could be a viable option. DNB courses are recognized and offer training in reputed hospitals.
Some notable hospitals for DNB that you could consider:
Participate in Counseling: Attend the state and all-India counseling sessions for both MD/MS and DNB seats. Keep an eye on the cutoffs and be flexible with branch and location preferences.
Consider DNB Institutes: Research and list out DNB hospitals that are well-reputed and have good clinical exposure and faculty.
Stay Updated: Continuously check for updates on counseling processes, as seat availability and cutoffs can change in subsequent rounds.
By keeping these options open and being proactive during counseling, you can increase your chances of securing a clinical seat that aligns with your preferences.

Hy,
With a NEET UG score of 666 and an All India Rank (AIR) of 14,583 under the OBC category, you have a good chance of securing a seat in several medical colleges across India. Based on previous years' data, the expected cut-off ranks for OBC candidates in various government medical colleges range widely, typically from about 250 to 4,000 for top-tier institutions.
Given your rank, you may be eligible for admission into several government medical colleges. However, your chances will also depend on the specific quotas and availability of seats during the counselling rounds. Here are some colleges you might consider:
Keep in mind that the final decision will depend on the specifics of the counselling process, including the availability of seats and the competition in the current admission cycle. You should also check for any updates related to the NEET counselling process for the current year to confirm your eligibility and options.

With 352 marks it's difficult for you to get either mbbs or bds seat.
It depends upon neet cut off 2024 . Cut off changes every year and it depends upon certain factors such as number of candidates appeared in exam, difficulty level of exam, performance of candidate and previous year's cut off etc .
This year cut off is high. Cut off neet 2024 for general category is 50th percentile ie score between 720-164.
For getting mbbs government college, the candidate should score 650 + marks amd for bds in government college score must be 600 + ( based on cut off )
You must try for other medical courses,

Hello,
Yes, NIT Trichy allows students to change branches, including from Production Engineering to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). However, this depends on your academic performance during the first year, particularly your CGPA. Branch change is highly competitive, especially for CSE, so you'll need to rank among the top students. It's important to check the specific rules and criteria set by NIT Trichy for branch changes.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you
