Can I get ISE or CSE in SJCE/JSS mysore with 5163 rank in COMEDK?

Firstly congratulations on securing AIR 5163 in COMEDK UGET 2020.
For AIR 5163, if you are from Hyd-Karnataka border then you can easily get ISE and CSE seat in JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru. The last year cutoff for CSE was 11434 and ISE was 11964.
If you are not from Hyd- Karnataka border then also you can easily get a ISE or CSE seat in JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru. The last year cutoff AIR for this category was 5998 for CSE and 8416 for ISE.

i hav studied in Bangalore since my childhood,i am basically from Andhra,i will write kcet,should i write comedk? now Im considered as local resident so what benefit Ill get by writing comedk, is it worth to write comedk ,because Ive heard its for other state studs to get admision in karnataka?

Hello!
It doesn't matter if you are a local citizen of Karnataka. The criteria for getting a seat under KCET is that you should have studied in Karnataka for 7 years and plus. Only then you are qualified to write this entrance exam. Hence, Comedk is the option you can opt for.

You can apply for the management quota seats in the private colleges of Karnataka if you belong to Rajasthan. Based on this score you can apply the colleges for Navodaya Medical College, Raichur, Basaveswara Medical College and Hospital, Chitradurga etc.

To get a rank of 3000 in comedk engineering entrance exam you need to have a score above 130 in comedk uget 2018.Although it depends on a lot of factors such as level of questions asked in the exam and number of students appearing in the exam.
You just need to focus on ncert book concepts and solve it consistently.Solve previous years questions and mock tests to enhance your skills in problem solving.

Hello. At this rank cse in MS RAMAIAH would be a bot difficult. Though you can get CSE is some state owned colleges.

Hi.
Unfortunately your score doesn't lie in a safe zone to get you a seat in CSE in a very good college. It might just hang around the cutoff.
On the other hand, mechanical from VIT is a good choice. If you feel you are interested in CSE more then you can simply apply for a program migration after a year, for which you need to perform really well in your first two semesters.
