Graduates have prospects in a variety of fields, including finance, accounting, banking, taxation, and management consulting. Commerce graduates are actively recruited by reputable firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC, etc.; large banks (ICICI, HDFC, Axis); and global corporations (Amazon, Accenture, and Capgemini). Can commerce background students do peruse for bsc in airlines an airport management??

Saurabh Yadav 19th Apr, 2025

Hii,

Yes, commerce students can definitely pursue a BSc in Airlines and Airport Management. Most colleges in India allow students from any stream—Commerce, Arts, or Science—as long as they've passed 12th standard. You usually need around 45% to 50% marks in your 12th, and some colleges may ask for English as a compulsory subject, but Physics or Maths are not required.

This course doesn’t focus heavily on science or maths. Instead, it teaches you about airport operations, airline customer service, ground handling, safety, cargo management, and how the aviation industry works. Since it’s more about management and communication, your commerce background fits well.

After completing the course, you can work in various roles like ground staff, airport operations executive, cargo handling, airline customer support, and more. Some people also go for cabin crew training or aviation management jobs later on.

So yes, you’re eligible, and it’s a good career path if you're interested in the aviation industry

How much fees for class 11th commerce per year

Sajal Trivedi 28th Apr, 2025

Hii There,

Depending on the school type and location, Class 11 Commerce annual fees can vary significantly.  The average monthly tuition at government schools is between 200 and 1,500, and in certain situations, education may even be provided for free.  However, tuition at private schools is far more, with monthly prices ranging from 2,000 to 15,000, in addition to annual fees, admission fees, and costs for books, labs, and transportation.  These extra expenses may result in annual fees that range from 50,000 to 1,50,000 or more.  Reputable foreign, CBSE, and ICSE schools might charge much more, often up to 3,00,000 annually.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks

I want admission in 11 commerce steam, I just want to know about the fees structure of 11th commerce steam on this website showing 33k annually is it true that i will complete my whole year in Just 33k??

Afreen 14th Apr, 2025

The fees for Class 11 Commerce can vary greatly depending on the school type and location. Based on your query about 33,000 annually, it's unlikely that you'll complete your whole year without extra costs. Here's what you can expect:

- Government Schools: Fees range from 2,000 to 10,000 annually, with some schools charging as low as 300 per month for Commerce and Humanities streams.

- Private Schools: Fees range from 20,000 to 1,50,000 or more annually, depending on the school's reputation, facilities, and location.

- Additional Costs: You might need to pay for:

- Registration Fees: 1,200 to 2,000

- Admission Fees: 20,000 to 1,10,000 (one-time payment)

- Monthly Tuition Fees: 3,000 to 12,850

- Transportation Charges: varies depending on the school's location and bus services

- Uniforms, Textbooks, and Other Materials: extra costs may apply

To confirm the exact fees structure for your desired school, I recommend contacting them directly . Some schools may offer scholarships or financial assistance, so it's worth inquiring about those as well.

I am a commerce student can I do b.tech

Devanshi Goyal 10th Apr, 2025

Hello ,

No, a commerce student cannot directly do B.Tech through the regular route.

  1. B.Tech requires Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th grade.
  2. Commerce students usually don’t have these subjects, so they don't meet eligibility.
  3. However, you can explore lateral entry after a diploma or pursue related fields like BCA.
  4. There are also many tech careers you can enter without a B.Tech degree.

Can a CBSE board student who has just passed Class 11 in 2025 can anyhow Change his Stream from science to commerce as he is now finding science hard to cope with, and also if the commerece stream is Not Available in his current school can he Change his School to where commerce is available ?

Prachi Kumari 10th Apr, 2025

Hello,

Yes, a CBSE student who has just passed Class 11 in 2025 can change his stream from Science to Commerce. But for that, he will need permission from the school. If the current school does not offer the Commerce stream, then yes, he can also change his school and take admission in a school where Commerce is available.

He will have to collect a Transfer Certificate (TC) from the present school and then apply to a new school that offers Commerce. Admission will depend on the availability of seats and school rules.

Hope it helps !

I want commerce but my school not allow to me and say take arts

SUKRITI GUPTA 13th Apr, 2025

Greetings! Here's a detailed response to your query

1.First, try to calmly understand why your school is steering you towards arts. Are there specific reasons, like limited commerce seats, perceived academic performance, or some other policy? Having a clear understanding of their reasoning will help you formulate a proper response.

2. Prepare a strong case for why you want to pursue commerce. Highlight your interest in business, economics, or finance. If possible, show them your academic record, especially in subjects like math or economics, to demonstrate your capability. Express your long-term career goals and how commerce aligns with them.

3. Your parents/guardians can play a significant role in advocating for your academic choices. They can schedule a meeting with the school principal or relevant authorities to discuss your situation. Their support can add weight to your request.

4. If your school remains firm, consider exploring alternative options. Look into other schools in your area that offer commerce streams. Investigate open schooling options or private candidates, which may provide more flexibility. Consider online courses that can provide you with the commerce education that you are looking for.

5. Regardless of the outcome, maintain your focus on your academic goals. If you end up in the arts stream, you can still pursue commerce-related courses after your 12th grade. Remember, your long-term goals are more important than a temporary setback.

I hope this helps.
