Commercial Pilot
Hello,
The fee charged is Rs38 Lacs whereas the cost of training of CPL at IGRUA is more than 45 Lacs. The gap is made up by the Government. There is no other subsidy or relaxation in training fee available to any candidate including SC,ST and OBC.
he Ministry of Tribal affairs has removed CPL Course from the Scheme of Scholarship for Top Class Institutes, hence no scholarships are assured to ST Candidates. However, the ST candidates may check with their State Government for Scholarship scheme. Please check with the Ministry for latest updates.
The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment provides Scholarships to five SC candidates on MERIT CUM MEANS BASIS under Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of TOP Class Education for SC students each year.
The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment provides Approximately Rs.2200/- per month towards boarding & lodging expenses whereas the Boarding – lodging and other expenses is approximately Rs 10000/- per month, therefore, the Balance of expenditure is to be borne by the candidates.
Some State Governments provide scholarship to reserve category candidates of their states. IGRUA can only forward the application to the respective State Governemtns. The candidates may approach their State Governments for the same.
The Akademi has no tie up with any bank for providing loan to trainees for doing CPL course at IGRUA. The Akademi provides help to candidates in getting loan by way of certificates regarding selection/Bonafide trainee and training fee and other expenses details. The candidates have to approach banks themselves and complete loan formalities.
I hope this helps
All the best
Thanks for query
A commercial pilot requires much more than passion though. This is a highly specialized profession which requires extensive knowledge of air navigation, meteorological report and operating highly sophisticated technology. All this while being the protector and leader to the flight crew and passengers under all kinds of conditions while flying in a metal box, thousands of feet above the ground! Not for the faint-hearted for sure. You can check the below link.

Hello Tushar,
First of all, you have to get SPL(Student Pilot Licence), then PPL(Private Pilot Licence) and after that CPL(Commercial Pilot Licence) with Multi Engine Instrument Rating. This will cost you around INR 30-40 on an average. This doesn't include the accomodations , travelling expense and others.
Better is to do IIT in Aerospace Engineering and you will be getting further golden chance.
Thank you.
