The eligibility criteria for becoming a commercial pilot in India when focused specifically on the eyesight is that pilots must have uncorrected distance visual acuity no worse than 20/70 in each eye, and vision must be correctable to 20/20. Near vision should be 20/20 or better without corrective lenses.
Yes you can become a commercial pilot too if your vision gets corrected by wearing spectacles.

If you aspire to become a pilot in your life, you must first choose your Higher Secondary Course with subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You must have scored a minimum of 50% in these subjects to be able to join an Air flying school.
A Commercial Pilot has to be fit- physically and mentally with good eyesight.
You may approach private institutes, fill forms and get started. Most institutes have a Pilot Aptitude Test, which a candidate must clear, in order to get selected. The Aptitude test is a 3 stage process, comprising of- written examination, Interview and the Aptitude Test. Once selected for the CPL training, students with no prior flying experience are given CPL training. The duration of the entire program may vary from one institute to another. On an average, it could last anywhere between 15-18 months.

The minimum percentage to be secured in physics, chemistry and math is 50%. The maximum age limit needed is 17 years .
If your are non science student, they u need to do the required subjects as private candidates from your state board.
To become a commercial pilot u need CPL ( commercial pilot license) , this can be gained after you clear your training from aan Institute recognised by civil aviation Authority of that particular country.

If you have passed 12th then you must have CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence).And for this you have to go for training program from an Institute recognized by the Civil Aviation Authority of that particular country .
To join this traing you must have passed your 10+2 with physics and maths as a mandatory subject and must have 50% aggregate marks minimum and your age should not be less than 17 years .
