i am studying grade 9 now and i want to become a commercial pilot so what groups and what competitive exams i need to study and write

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 21st Jan, 2021

Hello Dear,

If you aspire to become a pilot in your life, you must first choose your Higher Secondary Course with subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You must have scored a minimum of 50% in these subjects to be able to join an Air flying school.

A Commercial Pilot has to be fit- physically and mentally with good eyesight.

You may approach private institutes, fill forms and get started. Most institutes have a Pilot Aptitude Test, which a candidate must clear, in order to get selected. The Aptitude test is a 3 stage process, comprising of- written examination, Interview and the Aptitude Test. Once selected for the CPL training, students with no prior flying experience are given CPL training. The duration of the entire program may vary from one institute to another. On an average, it could last anywhere between 15-18 months.

Good Luck
