Are three months enough for cucet? How should i prepare for gk section in it?

pri111nah 1st Apr, 2022

Hi,

Without having a proper study plan, it isn't easy to complete the syllabus of the CUET Exam.

So here is a small idea for Rahul and students like him to kick start their Common Universities Entrance Test preparations.

With a good study plan, you will always reap good results.

Topic Preferred Time Limit
Reading NewsPaper 30-45 minutes
Maths 2 hours
Domain-Specific Subjects 2 hour
Logical Reasoning 2-2.5 Hours
English/ Languages 1-1.5 Hours
Current Affairs/ GK 1-1.5 Hours

You spend nearly 8 hours on preparations every day to score good marks.

Also, focus on the topics you find quite difficult to prepare. Many of you will be thinking, why should I practice more? Practicing will always help you score good marks in the exam!  It would help if you practiced as many questions as possible from the topics mentioned above.

In this way, you can build your confidence and speed. Also, you will also understand the difficulty level of the questions and the different types of questions asked.

General knowledge is something that you need to work on every day. Make sure that you are spending at least half an hour reading the newspaper.

  • Following Daily Current Affairs is one of the most innovative ways to cover all the topics as per the syllabus.
  • Look for the essential topics that you must cover right in the beginning.
  • Make sure to study at least the past 1-2 years of current affairs.
  • For current affairs, refer to major newspapers and monthly magazines.
  • Try to attempt at least 2-3 mock tests to test your preparation levels.
  • After completion of the test, analyze your performance and work on the weaker areas.

Hope this helps.

Sohamsengupta8 25th May, 2022

Hello Student

If you unable to match with the NCERT syllabus as you are from  CISCE i e . That is council of international school certificate examination and your in search of a good history department of University. But your experiences in q set through cusec in any centre University there is no good history department for study. vyshnava kumar 30th Mar, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing absolutely great.

So, with regard to your query, NO, it is not compulsory to opt the language from section 1B in CUET. You are subjected to opt from section 1B only in case if you wish not to opt anything from Section 1A, that means you can either opt a language from section 1A or from 1B. However, you can't remain without choosing anything from both sections, you should any language from either of them. It is mandatory.

Hope this helps you,
