ayanmukherjee045 15th Mar, 2022

Dear aspirant,

The national testing agency have released the eligibility criteria cucet 2022 in the official brochure in the month of August.

For the ug courses , the candidates should have secured atleast 50% marks in your class 10+2 from any recognised board / university. So, you can take arts even after studying and passing with science subjects in your 12th.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

i have pursue my graduation degree from distance college so should i am eligible for getting admission in post graduate like is distance degree is eligible for cucet exam?

pdwords Student Expert 15th Mar, 2022
Hello,

If the university from which you have pursued graduation it's recognized by UGC, then definitely you can pursue higher studies through regular mode, for example IGNOU, DU SOL, NSOU, Mumbai University IDOL to name a few are recognized distance learning universities, so candidates passing out from these universities are definitely eligible for higher studies provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the course they want to enroll in, such as you have studied the specific subjects or subject combinations, meet the aggregate etc.

CUCET is conducted for admission into central universities, this year DU, JNU Delhi too are participating, NTA is the conducting authority regarding this, you can stay updated at the official website at https://cucet.nta.nic.in/ to know the latest information regarding admission schedule.
