Common University Entrance Test
Your admission to any of the undergraduate programme offered in any of the college affiliated to the University of Delhi entirely depends upon the score and percentile obtained by you in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency. As you have obtained 530 out of 800 in the CUET UG, it will not give you guarantee to get admission in the Delhi University, as the cutoffs vary every year depending upon number of factors such as the college, course, number of candidates who have applied for admission in DU, competition in the entrance exam, candidate's category, etc.
The syllabus for the CUCET now, Common University Entrance Test for the undergraduate programme (CUET UG) is divided into three major sections, namely Language subject, Domain subject and, General Test. The details about them are mentioned below:
Language Subject : Language will be tested through the Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages, namely Factual, Literary, and Narrative), Literary Aptitude, and Vocabulary.
Domain Subject : As per the Class 12 syllabus only.
General Test : General Knowledge, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Current Affairs, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/ algebra geometry/ mensuration/ statistics), Logical Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning.
