I want complete details about CWA and CS

Ambika Sharma 19th Mar, 2018
Hello Kajal

Company Secretary (CS) is one of the principal officers of the company. They keep the company's records; complete the company's tax returns; advise the Board of Directors of their legal obligations to ensure that companies comply with statutory legislation.

CWA also performs the activities what CA performs like auditing a company but they audit about cost. They are known as Cost Auditors. The main objective of cost accountants is helping business to earn more profits.

According to me CS is better than CWA because of its vast area of working. CWA is quite limited to cost accounting where as CS is much more than that.

Best of luck

which course is better CA/CS/CMA?

Ambika Sharma 7th Mar, 2018
Hello Ankit
CA and CS is much better than CMA. Basically CA is much of practical less of theory and CS is much of Theory less of practical.
So if you are good at practical then you should go for CA but if you are good in theory then you should definitely go for CS.
Best of luck

I am doing CS executive. It was my 4Th attempt. In. Addition Im preparing for MBA entrance exam. Is it necessary to do mcom

Akshay Kadam 5th Feb, 2018

Aniket first of all why you are working for 3 different fields at a single time. You need to figure out your interest, what you actually like, in which field you want to make your career. If you really interested in management, you want to enter into the corporate world then drop both the ideas of CS executive and MCom. For doing MBA you need to have a graduation degree with atleast 50%+ as the eligibility criteria for most of the colleges.

The whole process of getting admission into one of the top colleges to pursue your MBA degree is a very long and tough process. Every year competition is growing at a very high rate. The first stage of ending up with a very good score/good percentile in any of the MBA exam is the toughest stage. And to get admission in any MBA college clearing an exam is not enough you need to have excellent academic records (10th, 12th and graduation percentage), work experience is also counted even your graduation degree (engineer/non-engineer), your gender is also given weightage. And these all parameters are used to call you for the second round of GD, WAT and Personal Interview. If you failed to perform in this stage you won't get admission.

I am not telling you all this to scare you but what I mean if you can't do MBA, CS Executive and MCom preparation altogether. It's very necessary to know about your interest and jump into with your full preparation in order to maximize your result. It doesn't need to be MBA only if you like MCom then go for it and scrap off MBA from your mind. But make sure you make a wise decision asap.

All the best for your preparations!!

if i would give cs foundation exam in dec 2017 and pass in 60 percent marks is it helpful in iim call

Anonymous 18th Aug, 2017
You will have to be a graduate and CS alone will not help.
Aim above 50% minimum to be eligible to apply for CAT entrance and other management entrance.
Your academic records are definitely helpful but there are many other colleges which are not strict at past academic records.
You should also aim at applying in other exams apart from CAT like XAT (application has started). CMAT, NMAT, MAT etc..

In IIM's your past academic does matter and you will also have to aim above 99.5 percentile to get into top ones.
You can check eligibility and selection process for top 3 below:
IIM A Selection Process

IIM B Selection Process

IIM C Selection Process

Hope this helps.

Hi...I am currently in class 12th pursuing commerce.i m looking to do CS+LLB but how can I apply for LLB as certain graduation is required!

Anonymous 22nd Nov, 2017

There is as such no integrated course for CS and LLB together. It totally depends on your interest. After 12th, For a BA/BBA/Bcom LLB degree you need to clear your 12th and along with it you can do CS.

CS is a professional course and can be done after 12th in 3 stages. There is 5 year LLB course which can be done after 12th as well. So you can opt for both courses after 12th.

Make sure you to balance between both once you step in to do both.

Good Luck.
