the student of commerce with computer application can choose b.com hons?

Ashish Pal Student Expert 16th Nov, 2019

Hello dear aspirant

As per your interest you can surely choose bcom honours if you are a commerse student.

If you have passed 10+2 with subjects like mathematics economic and accountancy etc you are eligible to get admission.  Generally bcom becomes relatively easy for a commerse student. Success in any stream depends on interest.

Hope you get it.

Good luck

Siddhi Shenoy 25th Nov, 2019

Hello Pathan,

To get admission for BCA course, you do not require to answer any kind of entrance exams like JEE. JEE is only for engineering students and not BCA students. You need to pass your class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks to qualify for getting a seat for BCA. Just focus more on your 12th state board exam.

I am pursuing my bachelors degree in statastics,I want to go for higher studies in computers, what is good choice for me

Naufal Mohamed 21st Jan, 2020

Now since you are pursuing statistics, a wise decision would be to take up data science/analysis. It is a relatively new but blooming field with pretty good packages. You may also give machine learning a shot. Machine learning uses a lot of data collection and analysis before building a model.

I have completed my MCA in india now for what courses i m eligible to go abroad

Mohammed Faiz 25th Nov, 2019
You can get the chance but it all depends how you start your career after MCA. Getting job outside India straightforward would be difficult so you have to start from working in India and get some real time experience.

Your Chances also depends on your profile on which you are going to work and based on that what are the opportunities available outside India.
Currently, As you see one profile is Big Data/Analytics/Hadoop which is in demand whose job opportunity/requirements/demand you can find worldwide but you need to get some experience in it so which better place than India.

Im a plus 2 commerce student.... I like computer application and accoutancy. Now I am confused to choose what to study next? I like to study bcom with computer and charted accounting.... So what show I study?

Papiya Mazumder 27th Sep, 2019

Hello,

As per your requirement, i would say that as mentioned above, being a commerce student you are confused between computer and accountancy so i would suggest that do what intetest you. If you are equally interested in both courses, then definitely choose what suits your interests more. Still if you are confused try to gather knowledge on future prospect of both the course, subjects needes to be learned, collegr selection, etc. Talk to someone of that branch to get a fair idea about those courses how easy or difficult for you would it be.

According to me both courses are best in its own way as jobs are plenty in both if you can be at your best as none of them is easy.

Good luck

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Sep, 2019
Dear Vaishnavi, you have to appear for entrance examinations like CAT, MAT, SNAP, ATMA for admission to MBA. For example, CAT eligibility states that you can have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. So if you appear for CAT and secure a seat, in the 2nd year, you can choose the specialisation of your choice.

Is Bachelor in computer application graduates eiligible for the gate exam ??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Sep, 2019

Dear Vaishnavi, for being eligible for GATE, Candidates should have completed their Graduation in Engineering/Technology or Master's in any relevant science subject. Now with BCA as an educational qualification, a candidate cannot appear for GATE. A MCA Candidate will be eligible but not BCA Graduate.
