The major difference between computer science and information technology courses is that computer science course deals only with the software programs and software systems of the computer where as information technology deals with the software system and hardware system of computers. In comparison between computer science and information technology, Information Technology has much wide and depth studies. Computer science course deals with mathematical models, data analysis and algorithms where as information technology works with CPU, Ram, hard disc and operating systems browsers and mobile applications.

The official dates for GATE 22 exam has not been released yet, once they are uploaded you can check it on the official website. About CS-1 and CS-2, the numbers here mean morning and forenoon shifts. Students are assigned shifts randomly and you will be informed about yours in the GATE admit card.
