I need to Cut off of jee Mains 2024 Of Computer science branch For Ews Category Of Vit Mumbai.

Akansha Sharma 23rd May, 2025

In JEE Mains 2024, the closing rank for the Computer Engineering branch at VIT Mumbai for the General category (All India quota) was around 99,339. For the EWS category, the cut-off is usually a bit relaxed, so you might get in with a slightly higher rank. Exact EWS cut-off isn't officially mentioned, but if your rank is close to or below 1 lakh, you have a fair chance. Keep checking the official counselling updates for confirmation.

Saurabh Yadav 27th May, 2025

Hii,

You can select Diploma in Computer Education or Diploma in Computer Teaching courses if you are pursuing TYBMS and would like to earn a diploma in computer teaching for Mumbai schools. These courses assist you in instructing schoolchildren in computer use.

Mumbai's top universities for this degree are:
Women's University of SNDT
Colleges affiliated with Mumbai University
Computer Education Institute (ICE)

Typically, fees fall between 20,000 and 50,000 annually.
You can apply in person at the college admission office or online. Complete the form, send in your TYBMS grade report, and make the required payments. Both online and offline applications are accepted at many colleges.

I want to do computer teaching diploma. which college in mumbai I got seat . .which give me job in icse school for computer teaching

kumardurgesh1802 23rd May, 2025

Hello there,

If you're aiming to become a computer teacher in an ICSE school in Mumbai, pursuing a Diploma in Computer Teacher Training (DCTT) is a suitable pathway. This diploma equips you with the necessary skills to teach computer science effectively.

Recommended Institution in Mumbai:

  • Imperial Institute of Management, Andheri West

    • Course : Diploma in Computer Teacher Training

    • Duration : 1 year (Distance/Correspondence mode)

    • Eligibility : Completion of 10th grade from a recognized board

    • Admission Process : Direct admission

    • Contact : 022-67084192

    • Address : 6th Floor, White House Ltd., Opp. Andheri Public Bridge, S.V. Road, Mumbai.

After completing the DCTT, you can apply for computer teacher positions in ICSE schools across Mumbai. Schools often look for candidates proficient in programming languages like Java and Python, as well as software tools such as MS Office. For instance, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan International School in Malad prefers candidates with qualifications like B.E., B.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (IT), B.C.A., or M.C.A. for teaching classes 6 to 12.

To enhance your employability, consider supplementing your diploma with certifications in relevant programming languages and software applications.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

I am matric pass govt employee and want to know about official work perform through computer. Which course is beneficial for me?

kumardurgesh1802 22nd May, 2025

Hello there,

Since you are a matric pass (10th standard) government employee and want to learn computer skills for official work, the most beneficial course for you would be a basic computer course focused on office work and documentation . Here are the best options:

1. CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) – by NIELIT

  • Duration: 3 months

  • Covers: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, basic typing

  • Recognized by many government departments

  • Language: Available in English and regional languages

  • Website: nielit.gov.in (https://www.nielit.gov.in)

    2. Basic Computer Course – by CSC Academy (Digital India initiative)

  • Duration: 2–3 months

  • Covers: File management, MS Office, email, cyber safety

  • Certificate valid for govt and private jobs

  • Website: cscacademy.org (https://www.cscacademy.org)

    3. DCA (Diploma in Computer Applications)

  • Duration: 6 months to 1 year

  • Covers: Typing, MS Office, Tally basics, Internet use, file handling

  • Available at private and government training centers

    4. Typing Course (Optional but Useful)

  • Helps in preparing official letters, memos, and file notes

  • You can learn English and regional language typing using free software

    Our Recommendation:

Start with CCC or Basic Computer Course if you are new to computers. These are short, affordable, and useful for most government office work.

I want gct coimbatore college admission for computer science or ECE , cutt oof 175 sc

kumardurgesh1802 22nd May, 2025

Hello Reshmika,

With a cutoff mark of 175 and belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, your chances of securing admission to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore through TNEA 2025 are unlikely .

Previous Year SC Category Cutoffs at GCT Coimbatore (TNEA 2024):

  • Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) : Cutoff rank was 22,580

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) : Cutoff rank was 22,402

These ranks correspond to higher cutoff marks than 175, indicating that admission to these branches at GCT Coimbatore is highly competitive.

Alternative Options:

  • Information Technology (IT) at GCT Coimbatore: Cutoff rank was 16,380 for SC category

  • Other Government Engineering Colleges : Consider applying to other reputable government engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu where the cutoff marks for CSE or ECE are closer to your score.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

i got 115 marks approx. in cet government colleges in maharashtra where i can get admission in computer science, electronics & telecommunication & artificial intelligence, data science

kumardurgesh1802 22nd May, 2025

Hello there,

With around 115 marks in Maharashtra CET , here’s a general idea of where you might get admission in government colleges for the branches you mentioned:

  • Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science are highly competitive branches.

  • With 115 marks, getting Computer Science in top government colleges may be difficult as cutoffs are usually higher.

  • You have better chances in mid-level government engineering colleges or for branches like Electronics & Telecommunication or newer fields like Artificial Intelligence, Data Science , but these also depend on college popularity.

  • Some lesser-known government colleges or campuses in rural areas may offer these branches with lower cutoffs.

  • You can also explore state counseling lists for previous years’ opening and closing marks to find colleges matching your score.

    Suggested Steps:

  1. Check the MHT-CET counseling official website for previous year cutoff marks for your preferred branches.

  2. Look for government colleges with lower cutoff trends for your score range.

  3. Consider other branches closely related if cutoff for these branches is too high.

  4. Apply during counseling and fill your choices based on previous cutoff data.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
