If you are a graduate from B.Sc. Computer Science, the MCA course in NIT Calicut is 3 years (6 semesters) in duration. There is no lateral entry, hence you need to complete the whole 3 years if you are eligible to pursue the course.
Hi dear candidate,
Getting a top college for CSE branch at rank of 203352 in KCET is very difficult as CSE branch is very competitive and requires a rank much lower than yours. Your rank is above 2 lakhs and only few private colleges like SKSJT Bangalore or Dr. T Thimmaiah Institute Kolar.

Hello,
Holding a rank of 1,42,892 and being eligible for both the SNQ (Supernumerary Quota) and SC category means you have a chance of securing a government college seat for Computer Science Engineering, particularly in the subsequent rounds of KCET counselling in Karnataka.
The SC category enjoys substantial reservation, and the SNQ allocation offers tuition fee waivers for qualifying students in certain colleges. Although prestigious government institutions such as UVCE, RVCE, or BMSCE might be unattainable at this rank, you could still gain admission to government or aided colleges or regional engineering colleges with somewhat elevated closing ranks.
Attending all counselling rounds, such as extended and mop-up rounds, is crucial, along with making as many choices as you can. Monitoring cutoff trends and vacancy lists closely will assist you in making informed choices during seat allocation.
Hope this helps. All the best!
With the score of 75% in diploma you can get several colleges for B.Tech Electronics and Communications (ECE) branch through lateral entry like MIT WPU, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, PCCOE, DY Patil University and many more.
Please ensure that you must have completed your diploma with computer subjects.
Hello Aspirant,
Your chances of getting Computer Science Engineering at KLE Institute of Technology, Hubli are slim but not impossible with a KCET rank of 124000 and the SCG category with SNQ quota. CSE is a highly competitive branch even within reservation and SNQ quota. You will most likely have a better chance in later round of counselling and during casual vacancy seats.
