what is fees for diploma in computer science

Radhika Goyal 28th Jul, 2024

Hy,

The fees for a Diploma in Computer Science can vary depending on several factors, such as the type of institution (public or private), location, and the specific program.

1. Government or Public Institutes:

In government or public polytechnic institutes, the annual tuition fees for a Diploma in Computer Science are usually lower. Typically, these fees range from INR 10,000 to INR 30,000 per year. Additional costs might include registration fees, examination fees, and development charges, which can add approximately INR 5,000 to INR 10,000 annually.

2. Private Institutes:

Private polytechnic colleges and technical institutes tend to have higher fees. The annual tuition fees for a Diploma in Computer Science at private institutions can range from INR 30,000 to INR 1,00,000. In addition to the tuition fees, there may be other charges such as laboratory fees, library fees, and administrative fees, which can total another INR 10,000 to INR 20,000 per year.

3. Additional Costs:

Apart from tuition fees, students should also budget for other expenses such as textbooks, study materials, and potentially accommodation if the institute is located far from home. These additional costs can vary but generally range from INR 10,000 to INR 20,000 annually.

I have passed my SSC exam with 68% percentage. So i can get admission in computer engineering diploma?

Nitin Kumar 14th Jun, 2024

Yes, you have a good chance of getting admission into a Diploma in Computer Engineering program with 68% in your SSC exam (assuming SSC refers to your 10th standard exam).

The minimum eligibility for most Diploma in Computer Engineering programs is typically passing 10th standard with a minimum percentage (often around 50%). While some institutes might have a higher cut-off, 68% puts you in a good position.

i have cleared diploma in computer science, whether i am elligible for CLAT exam ?

Nitin Kumar 27th May, 2024

No, a diploma in computer science alone does not qualify you for the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam. CLAT eligibility requires a minimum of a completed 10+2 education (or equivalent) from a recognized board.

You must have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognized board with a minimum percentage of marks (usually 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST category).
While a diploma in computer science might be a valuable qualification, it does not fulfill the basic educational requirement for the CLAT UG program.
