Conceptual
In VIT semester exams, subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences (like Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, etc.) often involve a high proportion of problem-solving, with less emphasis on theoretical concepts. The difficulty level of these problems typically falls within the range of basic conceptual clarity and some JEE Mains-level questions, rather than being solely focused on JEE Mains difficulty.
Problem-Solving Emphasis:
Subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences often require students to apply theoretical concepts to solve practical problems.
Conceptual Clarity:
While problem-solving is crucial, a strong understanding of fundamental concepts is also essential for tackling these problems successfully.
JEE Mains Level:
Some problems might require a level of understanding and problem-solving skills comparable to JEE Mains, but the focus is generally on applying basic concepts rather than solely on advanced topics.
Specific Subjects:
Mathematics: Subjects like Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations often involve problem-solving.
Physics: Subjects like Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Electromagnetism often require students to solve numerical problems.
Engineering Sciences: Subjects like Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Strength of Materials often involve problem-solving.
Good luck!!
Dear aspirant
There is no fixed chapters from which conceptual or theoretical questions can be asked it may be asked from anywhere. Although I'm giving some chapters name from which theoretical questions can come. In physics semiconductor, modern physics, light and dual nature, fluid mechanics etc this are the main chapters from which theoretical or conceptual or formula based questions may arise in physics although it's not fixed.
In chemistry chapters like solid state, biomolecules, polyester, chemistry in every day life, environment chemistry, periodic table, hydrogen, surface chemistry, principal and process of isolation of elements etc so these chapters can give you theortical questions.
Almost every chapter mentioned above will give you one question from some you might get two also.
You can also check the link below which will tell you the chapters which you must read to score high

Dear aspirant,
I am giving you this answer as per my observations and factors which i think is important for choosing college .
So first you need to look upon the placement scenario of that college and this is the most important one then you should see it has a brand name or not and lastly the return on investment factor .
Dear Aspirant,
Here is the link for M.s chouhan organic chemistry book for JEE. You can download it for free.
Organic Chemistry - M.S.Chouhan.pdf - Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lHkocs8CCCMkJDdVFobkc5S1E/view)
Thank you,
Dear student,
There are many special books for Calculus Maths. But if you go for such a book then you will find so much content in it . You will find such topics, that don't come even in JEE Mains and JEE Advance. So never go for that book. Just choose that book, that contains relevant topics as per your exam. So you can go for ' Mathematics by Cengage' book for JEE Mains. It has good theory and good problems for calculus. Alongwith it, you can also solve RD Sharma Objective Maths.
MS Chauhan Organic Chemistry is a good book to prepare for both JEE Mains and JEE Advance. It is a conceptual book. It contains proper theory and good problems. But if you want only numerical problems book for organic, then you can go for Organic Chemistry by SKM. This is also a good book.
Hope this helps.

Hello student conceptual learning is Nothing but learn with concepts instead of remembering all the things for example if you're solving a problem you've two options either you put all the formulas and solve them or you'll think why you're putting this formula in question how to drive this formula and the solve them, this method is called conceptual learning.
By solving any problems conceptually you need to learn a lot of things because once when you start solving things you'll get this done step by step.
I request you to please help me with the examination you're preparing for so that I can help you more.
