Hello!

You don't need to get into any other degree program before BA LLB to become a corporate lawyer. Degree program in LLB is considered best for becoming corporate lawyer.

These are some of the degree courses you can opt for to become a corporate lawyer-

  1. B.A. LL.B. (5 years)
  2. B.Sc. LL.B.
  3. BBA LLB (Hons) in Corporate law
  4. B.Com LL.B

Hope you are absolutely fine, as per your query there are many similarities and dissimilarities between Corporate Lawyer and Business Lawyer, for the basic understanding corporate lawyer and business lawyer works on the same issue but in different levels, Business Lawyer handles the interaction between businesses , peoples, costumers and employees whereas Corporate lawyer handles rules and regulations.

Business lawyer examine legal issue, shareholders rights, tax issues, work with your CPA to mitigate tax burdens, Copyrights and Trademarks concerns etc. on the other hand Corporate lawyer manages an organisation's operations, practices, authenticity and prepares contracts etc.

To become a corporate lawyer you need to complete your law degree.

Now,you have two options.

1. Choose any undergraduation program like BA,Bcom,BSc etc. and complete it.After doing that apply for a LLB in any university.
Eg.
1.Delhi University
2.Banaras Hindu University etc.

2.Appear for Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) and do an integrated BA LLB course from a recognised university.
Eg.
1.NLSIU, Bangalore
2.NLU ,Delhi
3.NLU , Hyderabad

3.After completing your degree you need continuous education and research.

Tips-
Nowadays students are preferring doing integrated course because it can save their one year.
