Hi, I am expecting around 70-80% in PCM class 12th in CBSE (batch of 2022). I wish to take a drop year to prepare for jee 2023 and since NTA has waived off 75% criteria for NITs (in JEE 2021 and 2022) for covid batch, considering if i get <75% in boards will I be able to get in NITs in JEE 2023?

Vishwathiga J 7th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant,

The waiving off of the 75 percentage criteria has not been made as a policy decision yet. So, if they don't waive it off next year, we can't say for sure if they'll make exceptions for the droppers. All this depends on how the COVID situation turns out on what decisions are going to be made. Hence, it is slightly risky to assume that you'll be able to get into NITs next year without >75 percentage marks.

Hope this helps

Immediately before the 15 days of exam date your friend should have to contact with the authority of the Vellore Institute of Technology for informing his or her inconvenience to appear for the exam. Here she has to apply through email.to the Vellore Institute of  Technology with valid documents of his illness and pray for doing something positive for appearing his examination in a hospital bed or in sitting in his home.

is covid vaccination compulsory to enter in NEET exam centre?

Anshika Singh 16th Jun, 2022
Hello,

No, you don't need to get covid vaccination done in order to give neet. You just need need to follow safety protocols i. e wear face mask, use sanitizer.

But it is highly demanded that you get vaccinated by atleast 1 dose and follow proper covid protocols for the safety of your own and your fellow candidates

You need to carry the following things along with you to your neet examination centre.

1.Printout of your NEET examination admit card
2. Your passport size photograph
3.Your Postcard size photograph
4.A valid ID proof of yours like
4.Aadhar card
5.PAN card
6.Ration card
7.Voter ID
8.Driving License
9.Passport
10. pwd certificate (if it is applicable)

mam/sir last 2020 due to covid 75percentile marks are not taken in nit ,iit so,now in 2022 is this criteria is been still followed by NTA ?

Aakriti Jaiswal 15th Jun, 2022

Hello aspirant,

75% criteria for NITs and IITs was removed for the 2020 candidates. They are also eligible for the jee 2022 so the 75% criteria has been removed by NTA for 2022. It maybe possible that NTA will not be removing 75% criteria for 2023 jee exams. So try to get your dream college this year.

Hope this helps you

Good luck:)

Is it necessesry to get 75 percentile in bard exam to qualify jee mains and get admission in NIT,IITS ? last year due to covid they had annouced that 75 percentile is not required now it is still followed?

thakurvishesh1 15th Jun, 2022

Yes Pooja, in normal times the requirement of NTA for JEE Main is:

1. Minimum 75% marks in XII (General)

2. Minimum 65% marks in XII (SC/ST/PwD)

But because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the disturbed academic schedule due to lockdowns, NTA has waived off the 75 percentile requirement or even the minimum marks requirement for JEE Main in the year 2022.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Hello , due to that covid thing and online classes and others , i didnt study properly in 11th and 12th. i have given my last board on 13th June 2022. i have zero prep for jee , so i will be going for REAP counselling , i want CSE branch. What should i do if i dont get it ?? should i drop for jee

Gungun Kasera 13th Jun, 2022
Dear students ,

Don't worry if you have wasted your 11th and 12th years . Many students because of covid were not able to study properly.
If you feel you can get better rank by taking a drop for a year, then I think you should take a drop.

Taking a drop makes person worried about the consequences , but if u have faith in yourself then you can achieve anything you want.

Don't waste anymore time and Start studying from the basics and finish the easy and more weightage chapters first.
Try to solve as many previous year papers to get confidence.

Don't forget to do Yoga and Exercise to keep yourself mentally and physically fit.
The Last thing dont loose the confidence .
