Here mce at dtu is going to be a great choice in my opinion because of 2 reasons firstly because of the tag of dtu which in itself is a tag many people dream of having also it has the advantage of having a location base in delhi , the second reason is that mathematics and computing is a good branch and many tech companies hire such students also there is good coding culture in dtu which will improve your coding skills and you will get good placements if you work hard on the other hand  these advantages may not be there in iiest although it is also a good college.

At 99199 rank it is tough to get a cse seat at thapar and that is even tougher if you are an outside panjab candidate but you should still apply for the counseling, also if you have good marks in your 12 boards then those marks can help in admission also if compromise a bit on your branch and take another branch except cse then you have an option of branch change as well on the basis of your first year cpi.

The Training and Placement Cell at CMR College of Engineering and Technology is responsible for arranging campus placements and industry interface initiatives for the students. Out of the companies that visited the college for final placements 2021, the highest CTC for BTech CSE which stood at Rs 22 LPA  was offered to one of the alumni by Amazon. The college has an 80% placement rate for BTech CSE students. Prominent recruiters that participated in the college's final placements recently include Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Accenture, among others. IARE Fee structure for EEE: 90,000/-

IARE Academics: It is an autonomous institute with 'A' grade NAAC Accreditation and ranked 159 by National Institutional Ranking Framework(NIRF) declared by Ministry of Education. It has well equipped labs with good experienced Faculty.
