Dear aspirant,
In these colleges it is always better to take the cse branch rather than any other branch because there wi be surety of getting placed at least.
It is not like that if you would take up ece you would not get placed. It is also a non core branch and has equal opportunity which is in cse branch. But see it also depends upon you in which area do you have interest. So if you have interest in coding then surely take up cse branch and if you have interest in electronics then take up ece branch.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, choice of stream etc. the exam conducts at online mode and total score is 60*3 =180, however 93/180 is quite low score to secure a seat in amrita coimbatore campus. computer science engineering is one of the demanding stream right now and it is difficult to secure a seat in amrita coimbatore for cse stream at this score. so you should try for next phase exam to try to secure better score . also apply for others colleges as well.
Amrita vishavidyapitham Coimbatore campus is the best college for Engineering programme.
