can I get seat in nit csc group for 74.9 percentile

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 30th Jun, 2021

hi,

see 74.9 percentile is not enough to secure a tier 1 institute let along nits or IIITs .

cutoff score for colleges changes every year and it depends on some of the determining  factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc.

based on careers360 rank predictor tool your overall probable rank would be 256773 - 288650 , this is not your category based rank .

so if you are appearing in the 4th session exam try to give your best performance.

To know about complete list of probable college name, based on your score, category please use Careers360 college predictor tool,

in Amrutha entrance test I got 165/180. what is the rank I will get and any chance to get CSC in Coimbatore branch

Sharon Rose Student Expert 24th Jun, 2021

Hello,

The rank is estimated to be in between 500-2500 with the given score. To know the actual rank you need to wait until the rank list is published by the authorities. The actual rank will be different from the predicted rank depending on the total number of candidates appeared this year, highest marks, tie breakers etc.

The latest cut off is not published officially so considering the cut off in 2018 you have decent chances of getting seat in Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore in Computer Science Engineering. The cut off was 1813 for other state category and 13801 for state quota. The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Which branch is best in between E.C or CSC overall.. In amrita coimbatore which is the best..

ayanmukherjee045 22nd Jun, 2021

Dear aspirant,

In these colleges it is always better to take the cse branch rather than any other branch because there wi be surety of getting placed at least.

It is not like that if you would take up ece you would not get placed. It is also a non core branch and has equal opportunity which is in cse branch. But see it also depends upon you in which area do you have interest. So if you have interest in coding then surely take up cse branch and if you have interest in electronics then take up ece branch.

For placements you can check out the link given below-

I had scored 93/180 in AEEE phase 2 will I get CSC department in amrita puri or Coimbatore. I AM FROM TAMILNADU.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 20th Jun, 2021

hi,

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix,  choice of stream etc.  the exam conducts at online mode and total score is 60*3 =180, however 93/180 is quite low score to secure a seat in amrita coimbatore campus. computer science engineering is one of the demanding stream right now and it is difficult to secure a seat in amrita coimbatore for cse stream  at this score. so you should try for next phase  exam to try to secure better score . also apply for others colleges as well.

l will get 966 in ipe and 95 percentile in jee mains. will l csc in sastra and any concession in fee

Nitin Mereddy 26th Jul, 2021

On comparing your score and percentile in JEE mains exam you may get a set in sastra University in computer science and engineering branch as you have desired on regular basis.

But with the changing trends we cannot be sure about yourself because students who have scored more than you in a their IP on JEE mains will be applying for computer science and engineering in sastra University and in that case you may not get your desired seat.

You can be more sure about your seat comparing your IPEmarks and percentile by visiting the college and rank predictor from careers 360.
