i have completed bsc and msc in zoology..now am i eligible or not for phd in biotechnology after clearing the csir net

Gracy Anu K F 25th Sep, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

Yes, Off course you can!

First of all, there isn't a course called PhD Biotechnology separately, while writing CSIR NET, you should select the paper under Life Science. So, once you cleared CSIR JRF/NET with a good score, you can directly join for Research. While Joining you can select your area of interest (for e.g., biotech) and you may start your dream work.

All the very Best for your Future.

NOTES FOR CSIR NET EXAM AND RELATED INFORMATION

Subhalaxmi Biswal 31st Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

CSIR NET is executed every year to select qualified candidates for Junior Research Fellowship and to make students permitted for lectureship. This exam will be conducted 3 times from this year onwards which is a good chance for aspirants.

Since you have not mentioned the subject you are interested in for the exam. I would like to advise study materials from Eduncle, Chem academy would be good as it has some good quality short notes which will help in quick revision.

You also focus on solving previous years' question papers which you can get from here https://competition.careers360.com/articles/csir-ugc-net-question-papers

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
