are current affairs part of syllabus of jnu entrance exam for ma history?

Aditi Yadav 15th Aug, 2021
Hey there!

Yes. I will explain it to you.

Actually they will never ask you direct questions related to current affairs and static general knowledge but they ask to questions related to history and from History topics that are currently in news.

Example- Any current news related to a famous temple, any news related to archaeologists, etc.

So, for now focus on the syllabus of JNUEE MA History and give just 20 to 30 minutes to read latest news related to history.

JNUEE Syllabus for MA Ancient History/ Modern History/ Medieval History

1.General comprehension

2.A broad understanding of the social sciences and

3.Themes related to political, economic and social history and on aspects of religion and culture pertaining to Indian and World history for the ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary periods.

Source- Jawaharlal Nehru University official website and the below mentioned link.
