nda current affairs syllabus 2020

Pankhuri Kumari 16th Jan, 2020
Dear Student!
NDA has not given syllabus norms as such for Current Affairs. Current affairs itself means the recent happenings going around in the world. So, as a matter of fact, tou can prepare for topics such as important dates, important and current happening in India and around the world, prominent personalities, geography, history, and basic science as a whole, and basic knowledge about Indian armed forces. Hope this helps.
Good luck!

what is the means of gk question changed into current affairs can you please describe with a example!

Nisha 28th Nov, 2019

Hello,

GK in general refers to information that is static . For example who landed on moon first, father of chemistry, when and who built jantar mantar. On the other hand current affairs is more related to recent happenings like about india's moon mission, nobel prize winner of 2019  etc.

However, sometimes current affairs are linked to historical facts and data .e.g questions related to NRC in exam .

Hope it helps

how do i prepare for iift? are there any books i can refer to or online guides? what about exam pattern? and what about current affairs that are asked and the gk..

Ronak Gala Student Expert 1st Nov, 2019

Manage your time accordingly in the exam. That's where a bit of competition ends as people get confused about how to progress. For this you'll need to solve lots of mock exams to be thorough with the habit. Quant is slightly higher than CAT with the focus on geometry, modern math, compared to basic arithmetic. GK is a separate section and it is focused on business awareness with a sprinkling of static and general GK questions.

Coming to the books part, then solve  50 gears papers a book by Ajay Singh and TK SINHA. For verbal ability and reading comprehension section, Word Power Made Easy’ – by Norman Lewis and ‘ Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension for the CAT’ - by Nishit K Sinha.
