Hii,
First of all, congrats on your AP LAWCET 2025 result that’s a good effort. With a rank of 820 under the BC-A male category, your chances of getting a government quota seat at Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Law Department are fair, though not guaranteed. In previous years, government quota cut-offs for 5-year law programs in SVU for BC-A category often hovered around the 500–900 rank range, depending on seat availability and competition.
However, these trends can vary each year due to total applicants, reservation splits, and how many people with better ranks choose SVU as their top preference. Since you’ve listed SVU as your first preference, that strengthens your case. What you can do next is stay alert during counselling rounds. If not SVU, similar top-tier colleges like Andhra University or Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University may be good alternatives.

Hi dear candidate,
Both the branches of Lala Lajpat Rai Law University (Sambalpur & Mumbai) had their last application date in June 2025. Additionally, they would require you the score of a recognized law entrance exam like MHT CET Law, CLAT, ALIET etc.
If you have given any of these entrance exam, you can try your luck but generally, the last date to apply for admission has gone and visiting the college in person may help by having a word with the staff.
