Hello Dwipjyoti Deka. It is not possible to get DRDO after 12th as graduation is must to get recruited there. So if you are from PCM stream then go for B.Tech first then proceed for the same. Also, after completing B.Tech you can give Gate exam then you can directly apply for DRDO. Good luck.
Candidates having first class bachelor degree (minimum 60% marks) in engineering, technology, electronic, communication, mechanical engineering and computer science can apply for SET exam. Application forms are available with information brochure at designated branches of state bank of India or forms are also published on the official website general/OBC candidates on payment of Rs.300/-(RS.100/- for the application form with information brochure and RS.200/- as Exam fees). For SC/ST candidates, there is no exam fee and the application form with information brochure will be available to them on payment of RS.100/- only.

Yes, absolutely. You are eligible for the CEPTAM exam. In the official website for CEPTAM, it is given that Candidates must have read the required subject at least for 2 years in the course of B.Sc. programme. So, you are eligible for the exam.

Individuals who are strong in Fluid mechanics,strength of materials,computational methods in engineering and other related subjects can apply for drdo.
So you can either take up aerospace or mechanical engineering.

You can only get into drdo provided you have done your bachelor's from IIT OR NIT , as they recruit only from IIT'S AND NIT'S . You must be at that top level so that they can recruite you without Mtech . You must have done some kind of research or major projects .
It is difficult to get into drdo without Mtech . It is better to do Mtech and then get into drdo as you may have better chances of selection.
