I have passed my 10th and 12th from a Delhi school but have stayed in UP for more than 10years.Am I eligible for the state quota of both states in NEET?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Jan, 2021

Hi

Yes, you are eligible for both Delhi and UP state quota for neet counselling.

This is because,

To be eligible for Delhi State quota one needs to have either domicile of Delhi or should have completed 10 + 2 from Delhi and as you have completed your 10 + 2 from the Delhi you are eligible for Delhi State quota.

You are also eligible for UP state quota as :
To be eligible for UP state quota you should be domicile of u p and to have done your 10 + 2 from up or if you have not done your 10+2 from up then you need to produce domicile certificate and as you have been living in up for more than 10 years you are eligible for domicile as the criteria for UP domicile is  that the person's  parents should be permanent resident of UP or the peron should be living in UP for more than 3 years.

As you have very limited time left for your Neet 2021 examination , you should focus on your neet preparation following the below tips :-

*Go well through NCERT and master it
*Make routine or timetable :- your routine should revolve around 3 things i.e study, revise and practice
*After finishing each chapter you should practice questions, you should practise at least 80 to 100 numericals / mcqs in Each chapter
*Solve previous year NEET questions
*Once done with complete syllabus, go through NEET mock test papers

You can prepare well using our neet program  for which link is provided below

There are two methods to get admission to MA programs in Delhi School of Economics . One is merit based and another in entrance based . Merit based is applicable only if you have done your under graduation from Delhi University. You should have minimum 60% in UG  to be eligible for admission but when it comes to marks needed to gain the admission , the competition is high and you need 80-90% and above in UG. Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course you need Transfer Certificate from that school where you have completed your class 12th because you have to submit it to the respective college in which you will take admission through NEET score. However it is not needed in counselling process but required by college authorities at the time of admission. You have to submit Transfer certificate along with Migration Certificate and Character certificate.

i am from rajasthan but i gave my 12 board exam from a delhi school and my sc certificate is issued from rajasthan govt. so what will happen during admissions ? will i not get sc reservations or the delhi state reservations for delhi region?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 13th May, 2020
Hello,

Yes, you will get reservation in Delhi because its a UT and you should thanks to Supreme court that made the judgement last year that the rule that a person's SC/ST status will not follow him to another state would not apply to the Union Territory (UT) of Delhi. So, you will.get reservation in delhi.

I hope this helps.
