I have got 157 marks. Can I get MBBS / dental with 60 lacs

AVINASH KUMAR 3rd Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant.

Hope you are doing well . It is difficult to predict because cut off change every year depends on various factors like..

  • No of seat available.
  • No of students apper in exam.
  • Difficulty level of level of exam.

Your expected rank will lie in between 6,90,000 - 7,66,977 according to your neet ug score. With this rank it is difficult to predict any bds/MBBS college as your neet ug score is too low.

To know the list of medical college to get admission according to your neet ug score ,  caste, place, you can use neet ug college predictor tool .

I got 355 marks in NEET 2021 is there any chances of getting government dental colleges as I belong to OBC category from Andhra Pradesh

swagatabhowmick13 7th Nov, 2021
Dear candidate, I'm afraid that 355 marks is not sufficient for getting a government dental seat. You can opt for private colleges. I can give you the list of private colleges if you provide me with your rank.

My mark in NEET UG 2021 is 307 and i am BC category. Can i get a seat in govt dental college? What private dental colleges can i get in tamilnadu?

pdwords Student Expert 14th Nov, 2021

Hello,

If we go through 2019 cut-offs then under 85% state quota for OBC Category then 396 marks secured seat in Rajah Muthiah Dental College and Hospital, Annamalai University and 440 marks in Tamil Nadu Government Dental College, you may have chances for government quota in following private dental colleges-

  • J.K.K. Natraja Dental College and Hospital, Namakal District
  • Karpaga Vinayaka Institute of Dental Sciences, Kancheepuram
  • Rajas Dental College and Hospital, Tirunelveli
  • Sri Venkateswara Dental College and Hospital, Chennai
  • Tagore Dental College and Hospital, Chennai
  • Adhiparasakthi Dental College and Hospital, Melmaruvathur

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..

i got 350 marks in neet ug exam...i belong to EWS in general category....and i m female candidate from bihar state..is there any chance to get govt dental college....

Kashish Saxena 4th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

In Bihar, to get admission in government dental colleges one need to score atleast 570+ marks in NEET UG exam under your category, as per the previous year cutoffs. However remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam, and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff.

But you can get admission in private dental colleges such as:

  • Buddha Institute of Dental Science, Patna
  • Sarguja Dental College, Laheriaseri
  • Dr S M Naqui Imam Dental College, Darbhanga
  • Dr B R Ambedkar Dental College, Patna

For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too which provides you elaborate information regarding the suitable colleges:

Hope your query is resolved.

do we get seat for dental if we get 11th lakh rank for neet?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Nov, 2021

Hi

>>>>>> With 11 lakh rank,  your percentile would be roughly around 28 -30 percentile

Your cannot any medical/dental college be it government or private .

This is because,

In order to be eligible for getting admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS etc even in private colleges or anywhere  you must qualify Neet examination

But with your percentile you have failed to qualify neet as

Neet qualifying cutoff percentile is :-

----------) General category :- 50 percentile

----------) OBC/ SC /ST :- 40 percentile

----------) UR- Ph :- 45 percentile

For detailed information, visit

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off

Now that,

You have failed to qualify , I would suggest you to prepare again for Neet examination .

Follow the below tips to prepare well for your Neet examination

  • Follow routine to avoid wastage of time

  • Make sure all your studies revolve around reading practicing question and revision

  • Practice is the key, solve MCQs in each chapter

  • Stress and focus more on NCERT especially for biology

  • Solve previous year question paper and mock papers of neet.

And don't worry we have Neet knockout program which will help you at every step of your preparation , the link for the same is given below

I got 355 marks in NEET 2021 can I get a Government Dental College as I belong to OBC category?

Anurag Khanna 2nd Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as Andhra Pradesh according to your profile.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So according to the data, on such marks and category you have very low chances of getting any of the government dental colleges in AP under state quota according to previous year's cut-off but you can go for management seats in some private dental colleges.

As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you have chances in following colleges :-

KIMS Dental College, Amalapuram - 213 marks

GSL Dental College, Rajahmundry - 144 marks

Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Guntur - 150 marks

CKS Theja Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Tirupati - 186 marks

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

NEET 2021 Cutoff AP: College-wise & Category-wise Cutoff (careers360.com)

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

-->>> SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile - 137-108 marks

is 131 marks enough to get seat in Ug dental private college in general merit? in Karnataka in 2021?

pdwords Student Expert 14th Jan, 2022

Hello,

With merely 131 marks and UR Category in NEET, it's difficult to even qualify the exam, the reason being if we go through NEET 2021 cut-offs to qualify against respective categories it has been as follows-

  • General/Unreserved :720-138 (corresponding to 50 percentile)
  • SC/ST/OBC: 137-108(corresponding to 40 percentile)
  • UR-PH:137-122(corresponding to 45 percentile)
  • SC/ST/OBC-PH: 121-108(corresponding to 45 percentile)

Hence, being UR you need at least 138 marks to qualify NEET, and without qualifying NEET you cannot get admission in any medical course such as MBBS/BDS/Ayush , even to get through management quota of private college it's imperative to qualify NEET, nevertheless if you're still interested in having a career in the domain of medical science, you can start preparing for NEET 2022 and we have NEET Knockout Program to help you out regarding this which you can check out at https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may , this will provide you live classes with experienced faculty, unlimited mock tests along with performance analysis, smart study material, chat support regarding doubt which is accessible throughout 24 hours.
