If I get 200 marks in neet can I get seat in dental college in karnataka and iam belong to category-1

Kuheli Sanyal 29th Sep, 2021

Hey,

Based on previous year data, with 200 marks you can get a rank between 581610-607516. You can also predict your rank using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

Last year the cut off rank for BDS-GOVT seat in Karnataka through its state counselling under 1G category was 211619. So based on this, it is quite difficult for you to get a government dental seat through Karnataka State Counselling. However, you can get management quota dental seat in private dental colleges of Karnataka through the state counselling.

To know more about Karnataka state cut off, follow this link https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

You can get a complete list of colleges in which you may have a chance of getting MBBS/BDS seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

It is important to know that cut offs and ranks vary year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available.

I have scored 269 marks in neet and I belong to SC category......will I able to get dental or BDS or hospital management in any private medical college.....??

shreyakhedkar05 14th Sep, 2021
Hello,

This year's cutoff will be comparatively less than last year.
The question paper was difficult this year.
But anything can't be predicted right now.
With the score mentioned you can try for BAMS, physio.
Chances of getting BDS will be less even if the cutoff for the SC category will be near 480 for MBBS then for BDS it will be near 475.
There's a marginal difference between cutoff these two.
The chances are less but you can hope for the best as result is yet to declare.
