should i buy newer dentalpulse for upcoming exam or the older version of dental pulse is enough?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 24th Mar, 2021

See Dental Pulse books are highly editorial i.e., in every edition some of the changes occur in the book which may or may not be fruitful for you. Now if you have done your preparation from the old book then its better to stick to that because if you will try to study from the new book in a short amount of time then all the new information you will read may mess up with the prepared ones.

**So I would recommend, if you really have a good amount of time then only go for the new book or else stick to the old one you have.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

can I get seat in first round or second round counselling (karnataka)in dental college if I score 350 mark(2A catogary with 371 J artical)

Sowmya Konkala 5th Apr, 2021

hello aspirant,

you did not mention which dental college cutoff you want to know about.however the  last round cutoff for  sri rajiv gandhi dental college is 334. As of now its tough to say because the cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exams, difficulty level of paper etc.but based on previous year analysis the cutoffs are mentioned, considering state quota.target high and try to reach so that you don't have to worry about if u fetch the seat or not because in 2020 the cutoff rose by atleast 30-40+marks causing a difference in ranks by thousands.so prepare well.for more information regarding cutoffs refer to: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

hope this helps,

thankyou.

can I apply for BDS in any of private colleges in India after being graduated in Bsc zoology honours.please let me know.

Pankhuri Kumari 22nd Feb, 2021
Hii!
If you are talking about applying in to BDS course after completing your graduation, then let me tell you that the eligibility criteria for BDS course states that the candidate must have completed class 12th with atleast 50% marks in PCB and English subject combinations from a recognised Board of Education. The admission are provided based on NEET UG entrance exam. So, basically you will be doing graduation all over again after you complete bsc zoology course. The choice remains on you. Post graduation courses aren't provided directly.
Hope you understand.
Good luck!

How much score required in neet to get into R. AHMED Dental college in general category?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Feb, 2021
Hi

It is very difficult to predict marks required to get a seat in DR. R. AHMED DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, KOLKATA but when we go through previous year trends then,

In neet 2019 , 504 marks for general category was the lowest/ cut off marks that got a seat in DR. R. AHMED DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, KOLKATA under West Bengal state quota

You can check the same at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal

But yes,
cut off marks / rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the neet examination, kind of marks obtained by them in neet , toughness level of the neet examination, number of seats available etc.

So , you should target at least around 50 more in your Neet 2021 examination in comparison of Neet 2019, So you should target at least around 550 marks to be on the safer side in your neet 2021 examination .

Now , limited time is left for your neet 2021 examination, so focus on preparation, go through the chapters , practise questions and then revise them, go through mock test papers once you are done with complete syllabus.
