To become a dental hygienist, a diploma in the same discipline is necessary. Diploma in dental hygiene is a two year full time diploma programme offered to students pursuing career in dental hygiene. Average fee can range from 10000 to 10 lakhs depending on different institutions. The average starting salary for diploma holders in dental hygiene is 2 to 12 lakhs per annum. Jobs include- medical assistant, physician assistant, dentists, radiation therapist, registered nurses, dental assistants etc. Or, you can also go for a Bsc in this discipline for more growth and detailed study of dental hygiene. So, you can either enter in institutions like AIIMS, Haridwar( bsc dental hygiene) through your NEET score or fill up forms for diploma in various colleges.

Hello
As far as I know if you are getting admission on the basis of AMU internal quota then you will not be prohibited from participating in NEET state counselling. However if you sit for the counselling conducted by MCC on behalf of DGHS and you get a college in the AIQ you can either:
Take admission there
Leave the option but the security money will be forfeited.
If you take admission in a college on the basis of All India Quota Counselling then you willnot be allowd for State counselling.
Based on your rank it seems to be very difficult to get any government dental college (not for other courses also). But if you can afford private colleges than yes you can, and at last if u have a time then start preparing for neet 2021.
All the best!!
