Do Demeed Universities such as Jawaharlal Nehru medical College,Belgaum, JSS Medical College,Mysore and KLE Vk Kattimani Dental College, Belgaum also comes under 85% state quota counselling conducted by KEA?

Anurag Khanna 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

No any of the deemed universities does not come under state quota counselling. See, seats in the deemed universities are only filled through All India quota counselling. It is irrespective of any state because whether you belongs to any state you must have to participate in AIQ counselling conducted by DGHS on the behalf of MCC to get a seat in any of the deemed universities.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

Hello student,

Manipal is the leading college in india in terms of the medical education therefore it's cut off goes higher every year you might not get the BDS in 1st councelling but you can get this college from 2nd councelling.

We cannot say it surely as the cut off always differs every year.

Thankyou

Im from gulbarga/kalaburagi, Karnataka, i scored 321 marks in neet2020, OBC +3B+har-kar quota, can i get any GOVT SEAT IN PRIVATE MEDICAL COLLEGE, or BDS in ESIC DENTAL COLLEGE gulbarga

Kanith Sawkar 2nd Nov, 2020

Hey aspirant,

As per your NEET score and category, based on previous year's cutoff, chances seem tough for admission to MBBS at private medical colleges for management seat as well as BDS seat at ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga. But, you may get BDS management seat at the following colleges:

  • MR Ambedkar Dental College, Bangalore
  • Hyderabad Karnataka Education Societies Dental College, Gulbarga
  • Al Badar Dental College, Gulbarga
  • Vydehi Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore

Hi aspirant,

As per previous year's cutoff for admission for BDS at Faculty of Dental Sciences at KGMU Lucknow, which is a government dental college, the cutoff was 525 marks. So it is difficult to say whether you will or will not be able to get admission there. However, you have good chances of admission at private dental as well as medical colleges for your NEET score.

Hii sir, Im from Bihar scoring 587 in neet 2020.In all india 1st round Councelling if I dont fill choice for dental then can I fill the choice for dental in 2nd round Councelling??

rajeevanand843 31st Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

Yes you can fill dental colleges choice in second round if you haven't in first round as you will have to do fresh new choice filling once it started. You can fill totaly different colleges in 2 round it's upto you only. But once you got any college in 2nd round and you have been allotted a college then you will have to report and get admission or otherwise there is no free exit. You will have to exit with forfeiture means loosing your security deposit money i.e, Rs 10000 so be careful and make a wise choice if you are looking for participating in AIQ 2nd round counselling.
