Will I get a seat in government dental college mumbai with 500 marks?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 2nd Jun, 2020
You haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless according to previous years data, if you belong to General Category, the chances for a seat for 500 in Government Dental College might be on border line. You will need atleast 550 and above. But for Resrved Categories, 500 is a good score. Now, as mentioned this is based on previous years data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year based on no.of  Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.

frankly answer me am confused if i get admission in dental and bsc cell molecular which is the right option to go?

ANUJA 1st Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Dental and Bsc cell molecular are different things though. Dental is almost related to structure, development of teeth and mouth. While Bsc molecular is related to DNA, RNA, cell mechanism

So to find which one is right, I would suggest go for the scope of the field in future. See what job opportunities are available, Return on Investment and most important your interest towards the field. So take the decision by undertaking these factors and a thorough research.

Hope this helps

which intrance exame is required for dental mechanical

Bhawna Mehbubani 29th May, 2020

For admissions in BDS(dental) courses, you must crack NEET exams. This is the only exam for admissions to all medical colleges through out India.

For admission to Mechanical engineering, you either have to crack IIT JEE or state common entrance tests, which will give you admission to various engineering branches. There you have to mention your choice of stream in the first place during the counseling process.

I hope this helps you!

what are the minimum marks required to get admission in government dental college mumbai?

Shubham Dhane 26th May, 2020

Hello,

We cannot tell the exact minimum marks but we can predict it by seeing the cut off for previous years. The 2018 cut off was at 472 for general candidates and for OBC category candidates the cut off was at 466. The state cut off was 30%. So the minimum score you need is around 480 marks and above to make sure that you get a seat in Government Dental College mumbai. with 350 marks in neet in which xourse shall i get admission.mbbs dental, ayurvedic or homeopathic.I am obc .

Pankhuri Kumari 22nd May, 2020
Hii Rushali!
Frankly speaking, 350 marks is too low to get a government mbbs College. Then, it also depends whether you are applying for counseling at all India Quota level or state level quota. Different states have different cut-offs for each course. The cut-offs change every year based on certain factors.
So, at very lucky cases, you can expect to get an ayurvedic or homeopathic seat depending on the state you are from. It's difficult to get any course at all India level.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Eligible mark to get a seat in selffinancing dental college chennai

Zayed khan 20th May, 2020

dear

Now, the candidates who have qualified the exam are now waiting for the release of state wise cut-off marks and merit list. As it is known that NEET seats are divided into all India Quota seats and State-quota seats, the further admission procedures will be conducted by separate authorities for both the types of seats.

The merit and cut-off list for 15% all India Quota seats will be released by the concerned government medical colleges, central universities and other colleges as per the directions of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on the behalf of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), India.  On the other hand, for 85% state quota seats it will be released by the respective state authorities.

Tamil Nadu NEET Cut-off marks and counseling will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Tamil Nadu. Each medical and dental college in the state will release their own cut-off marks in order to offer admission to the candidates under the state-quota seats.

Is their any problem in getting the admission if we had attempted 3 times in gseb board and each time we get new marksheet from the board? Their will be any problem at the time of getting admission in mbbs or dental??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th May, 2020
Hi

It doesn't matter how many attempts you have taken to qualify your class 12th board examination, you are still eligible for neet and taking admission in a medical /dental College after qualifying neet provided you must have passed your 12th with at least a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB in your  if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories . You should have also passed English in your 12th examination

For detailed information about neet examination go through our page for which link is provided below; -
