Process is quite simple. Pass your class 10th boards, opt for Physics, Chemistry and Biology Stream and then work hard for 2 or 3 years (in case of drop), appear for Boards, get 60 and above in boards, appear for NEET, try to get at least 400 to 450 to get some good Government colleges for BDS.

Yes you can join army dental corps eligibility criteria is min 50% marks in NEET PG entrance exam. After completion of B.D.S first you have to appear for NEET PG exam , while filling up the form for pg enterance there is option to be marked for army dental corps. Candidates must be BDS/MDS with minimum 55% marks in final year BDS passed out from a College/University recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
Bachelor of Dental Surgery is Undergraduate Professional Course in India to become a Dentist.
Course Duration : 4 + 1 (1 year of paid rotatory internship)

So for the degree in MD a dentist who can cleared his BDS degree from an equivalent institution obviously eligible for the test.
