DIETs are educational institutes present at district level all over India to offer elementary education teaching courses and SCERT means State Council of Educational Research and Training which is the conducting body for admission process of Diploma in Elementary Education and Diploma in Pre-School Education for nine DIETs of Delhi.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 with 50% marks are eligible to apply for DIET delhi admission. Interested candidates can apply online at scertdelhiadmission.nic.in. Shortlisting is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying ecam.

As per recent guidelines of UGC, candidates can now pursue two degree programs from same/different universities, but one of it has to be done through regular mode and another one through distance mode, so if you pursue any teacher's training course through distance mode, then you can go ahead with graduation through correspondence.

Application form of DIET 2020 has not been released yet and might get postponed due to the crisis going on. To fill the application form you need to be eligible with minimum 50% in 10+2 from a recognized board. Also, the maximum age to fill the form is 24 years.

I think BA (program) in regular is the best choice if you are preparing for civil services, as it covers your subjects of the exam.
I would recommend to do regular college than an open college as it will give you a lifetime experience, and you will regret after for not opting for regular college.
For your B plan, I am suggesting to become a professor in college which required MA and NET, and then make 3rd option to become a primary teacher.
