Vellore Institute Of Technology, Vellore does not offer admission to second year B.Tech course through lateral entry. So you cannot get admission to second year B.Tech course through lateral entry after passing in Diploma in Electronics Engineering (Digital Electronics & Microprocessor). It offers admission to under Graduate B.Tech course (First year). And the candidates seeking admission to B.Tech course must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry in with minimum 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For candidates belonging to SC/ST, Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura need to score minimum 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
You can get admission in to any other institute offering admission to second year B.Tech through lateral entry. You must apply for admission separately.
