It is not recommended to do preparation with your college doing two things simultaneously will end up to gain nothing so please think before taking admission if you are not satisfied why are you taking admission if this is because you don't want to waste your precious year then its ok go for it you don't know what happened next year.check college placement and curriculum what they will add to your future goals is necessary.you can credit transfer but they admitted only to 2 nd year.all the best

which is better DNB medicine or diploma child health or DTBCT? I have paid counselling access can open college predictor.

Hridaya Rao 9th Oct, 2024
Hello Medical Student,
The choice between DNB Medicine, Diploma in Child Health (DCH), and DTBCT (Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases) depends on your career goals and interests.

1. DNB Medicine (Diplomate of National Board in General Medicine):
Focus: General Internal Medicine.
Scope: Offers broad opportunities in general medicine, including the possibility to specialize further (e.g., Cardiology, Neurology).
Career Prospects: You can work as a consultant physician, pursue super-specialization, or work in academic institutions. The DNB is considered equivalent to an MD in India and recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

2.Diploma in Child Health (DCH):
Focus: Pediatrics.
Scope: Specializes in child healthcare, covering diseases, and conditions specific to infants, children, and adolescents.
Career Prospects: Ideal for those who want to focus on pediatric practice. You can work as a pediatrician in hospitals, clinics, or even run your own practice.

3.DTBCT (Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases):
Focus: Pulmonary medicine, including tuberculosis and other chest diseases.
Scope: Specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of respiratory conditions.
Career Prospects: Suitable for those interested in respiratory medicine. You can work in specialized chest clinics, hospitals, or TB control programs.

Which is better?

If you are inclined towards general medicine and possibly super-specialization : DNB Medicine is better.
If you are passionate about child healthcare : DCH is better.
If you are interested in respiratory diseases : DTBCT is better.

Your decision should be guided by your interests and where you see yourself in the future.

How can a 3 year diploma holder in uttarpradesh get a 12th equivalent certificate?

monag2673 29th Aug, 2024

In Uttar Pradesh, a three-year diploma holder can obtain a 12th equivalent certificate through several options:

1. **NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling):** One of the most accessible ways is to enroll in the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). NIOS offers a Senior Secondary Course, equivalent to the 12th grade, which allows students to choose subjects according to their interests and complete the course at their own pace. After passing the exams, you will receive a certificate equivalent to the 12th standard.

2. **State Board Exams:** Some state boards, including the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, may allow diploma holders to appear for the 12th standard exams as private candidates. This option is useful if you wish to obtain a 12th standard certificate recognized by the state education board.

3. **Lateral Entry to 12th Standard:** In some cases, educational institutions may allow diploma holders to directly enroll in the 12th standard, especially if the diploma is in a related field. However, this option depends on the specific rules of the institution and the state education board.

4. **Distance Education:** Several universities and boards offer distance education programs where you can pursue and complete the 12th equivalent course.

Choosing the right path depends on your specific needs, such as whether you require the certificate for higher education or job opportunities.

I am currently doing my diploma in cse and its after 10th, and i want to pursue my futher education in forensic science so will it be difficult or problematic if I would fill the form of nfsu entrance exam. Abd if there is any other option please let me know

monag2673 28th Aug, 2024

If you’re currently pursuing a diploma in Computer Science after 10th grade and wish to study forensic science, there are a few considerations and options available:

1. **Eligibility for NFSU**: National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) typically requires candidates to have completed their 12th grade education to be eligible for their undergraduate programs in forensic science. Since you’re doing a diploma post-10th grade, you would generally need to complete your 12th grade (or an equivalent qualification) to meet the eligibility criteria for NFSU’s entrance exam.

2. **Alternative Pathways**: If you haven’t completed 12th grade, consider the following options:

- **Complete Higher Secondary Education**: You could finish your 12th grade in a relevant stream (Science with Biology or Chemistry) and then apply for forensic science programs.

- **Check for Other Institutions**: Look for other institutions or universities offering forensic science programs that might have different eligibility requirements. Some institutions might offer diploma or certificate courses in forensic science that do not require a 12th-grade completion.

3. **Prepare for Entrance Exams**: If you’re eligible for NFSU or other forensic science programs after completing your 12th grade, start preparing for the entrance exams by studying the relevant subjects and syllabus.

Research thoroughly to ensure you meet the requirements and explore all possible pathways to achieve your goal in forensic science.
