After completing veterinary doctor course then I will get Government jobs immediately or not

pri111nah 10th Apr, 2022

Hi,

No. You have to face exams and interviews if the state or centre has vacancies for Vets. I have seen many Vets trying to get Govt jobs but didn't get selected. Nevertheless, they are well of in private sector.

Every Government Posting comes out when a significant number of vacancies come into existence. In the field of Veterinary Medicine also, when the State Govt perceives a comparatively higher number of vacancies, it declares them and the recruitment is done through a competitive exam conducted by State Public Service Commission.

So, the fact is, if you are lucky enough, the Govt will declare vacancies in the same year as you complete your BVSc & AH degree and if you clear the Exam, you get a Govt job as a Veterinary Surgeon which makes you a Class II State Govt employee. On the other hand, Veterinarians have had to wait for as long as 4 years to take a shot as the vacancies were not declared during that period. So, you might have to wait.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

To become forensic doctor with criminology one should complete bsc in forensic science and pursue msc with criminology or complete bsc with criminology?

Arhana Chakraborty 8th Apr, 2022

The best choice if you want to become Forensic expert, then go for the BSc in Forensic followed by a MSc in Forensic Science or Criminology. Having a Forensic Bachelors course gives you a better background and highlights your profile. So go for this combination if possible.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Apr, 2022

Hi

No, you are not eligible for becoming doctor in army or anywhere else as to become a doctor you need to do mbbs and for that you need to qualify Neet examination but being a pcm student if you don't have biology/ biotechnology then you are not eligible for neet and thus can't become a doctor.

This is because,

To be eligible for Neet , it is mandatory to have biology/ biotechnology in 12th

For your reference,

Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-

-----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination  or should   have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry , biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.

-----------)  Percentage required :- You must get

  • at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

  • at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-----------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old  by 31st in the year of appearing for the examination

  • Upper age limit :-There's no upper age limit for NEET. Earlier there was upper age limit  of 25 years which was pending in supreme court, on 9th march 2022 NMC in its notice has removed upper age limit. For details about it checkout :- https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-number-of-attempts-and-age-limit

if hcf (39,91)=13,then lcm (39,91) is

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 29th Mar, 2022

Hi

Answer :- 273

EXPLANATION

We know that,

L.C.M  x H.C.F of two numbers =  product of two numbers.

Then,

H.C.F × L.C.M = 39 × 91

Or 13 × L.C.M = 3549

Or LCM = 3549 / 13

Or LCM = 273

Hence is LCM is 273

Im studying engineering and i want to be a doctor whats the process to get that? please assist me

piyush singh 7th May, 2022

Hello, I hope you are doing well

You have two options here:

  1. get your bachelors degree in engineering and get your masters done and then apply for PhD once you have completed your PhD and then you could officially title yourself as a DR.
  2. Complete you engineering (which will already take your 4 years) then apply for MBBS (another 5 years of education) . Now, By the time you graduate from MBBS most of your friends from Engineering would have their own kids and by chance if you plan to study further such as MD or something higher , then it will take even more time.

I hope you understand, what's best for you.

Hope this helps. All the best!
