Question : Comprehension:
Read the given passage and answer the questions that follow.
With an impressive growth in yields, Telangana now claims to be transforming into the rice bowl of India. The Food Corporation of India (FCl) has procured 52 lakh tonnes of paddy from Telangana alone, which is more than half of the national target of 91 lakh tonnes. The state's harvests have nearly doubled in a year. Paddy production is up 93%, maize 95%, and cotton 74%, according to the Telangana Planning Department.

The state is also making its mark as a producer of paddy seed. "About 85% of our village's paddy is of a fine variety that farmers in MP, Haryana, Bengal, and Bihar use as seed," said a farmer in Anksapur Village in Nizamabad district. The seed crop sells at a premium over the state's minimum support price for paddy.

Question : Comprehension:
Read the given passage and answer the questions that follow.
Anna Pávlovna's drawing room was gradually filling. The highest Petersburg society was assembled there: people differing widely in age and character but alike in the social circle to which they belonged.

Prince Vasili's daughter, the beautiful Hélène, wore a ball dress and her badge as maid of honour. The youthful little Princess Bolkónskaya, known as the most fascinating woman in Petersburg was also there. Vasili's son, Hippolyte, Mortemart, and many others had also come.

To each new arrival Anna Pávlovna said, "You have not yet seen my aunt," or "You do not know my aunt?" and very gravely conducted him or her to a little old lady, wearing large bows of ribbon in her cap, who had come sailing in from another room as soon as the guests began to arrive; and slowly turning her eyes from the visitor to her aunt, Anna Pávlovna mentioned each one's name and then left them.

Each visitor performed the ceremony of greeting this old aunt whom not one of them knew, not one of them wanted to know, and not one of them cared about; Anna Pávlovna observed these greetings with mournful and solemn interest and silent approval. The aunt spoke to each of them in the same words, about their health and her own.

And each visitor, though politeness prevented his showing impatience, left the old woman with a sense of relief at having performed a vexatious duty and did not return to her the whole evening.

Question:
When the guests arrived, Anna:

Option 1: met them unwillingly

Option 2: took each one to meet her aunt

Option 3: excitedly took them to meet the Prince

Option 4: took some of them to meet her aunt

Team Careers360 24th Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: took each one to meet her aunt

Solution : The correct choice is the second option.

Explanation: Upon the arrival of each guest, Anna Pávlovna would personally guide them to her aunt, a little old lady in the drawing room.

With a formal tone, Anna introduced the guests to her aunt, who engaged in customary but somewhat tedious greetings with each visitor.

Therefore, when the guests arrived, Anna took each one to meet her aunt.

Question : In an examination, the average marks obtained by John in English, Math, Hindi, and Drawing were 50. His average marks in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Craft were 70. If the average marks in all seven subjects are 58, his score in math is ________.

Option 1: 50

Option 2: 52

Option 3: 60

Option 4: 74

Team Careers360 4th Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: 74

Solution : The total marks obtained by John in English, Math, Hindi, and Drawing = (50 × 4) = 200
and total marks obtained by John in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Craft = (70 × 4) = 280
Also, the total marks obtained by John in all seven subjects = (58 × 7) = 406
So marks obtained in math are = (200 + 280) – 406 = 74
Hence, the correct answer is 74.

Firstly, you should focus completely on your 12 th board exam. After completing 12th standard, if you like programming you can join any programming courses related to language like HTML, JAVA, SQL, C+,C++,etc. Or you can learn courses related to hacking. There are various job options if you know how to program apps, how to make websites, and you can do legal hacking for our nation. If you had an interest in games, you can develop your own game and if people likes your game, you also earn good money through this. You can also pursue some course in fine arts that will sharp your talent in drawing. Or you can do any course related to literature so u have a closed view of modern and ancient literature and it develops your reading skills. If you want to pursue a degree, you can also pursue b.tech in computer science because you are interested in computer and things related to it.

One question my cousin has passed from 12 nios (physics, chemistry, data entry operator, drawing, english, biology) his total result is pass but theory is not clear in physics but final result pass Can he take admission in Bachelor of Arts?

Sayan 13th Aug, 2022

Hello,

The three-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme emphasises a variety of academic fields, including English, History, Political Science, Geography, and others. Depending on their preferences and the results of their +2 board exams, candidates may choose to enrol in a BA general or BA Hons degree. While BA Hons programme focuses on a specific concentration, BA general programme emphasises an overview of fundamental disciplines.=

A minimum of 50% in the class 10 and 12 exams is required to be eligible to enrol in a BA programme. Admission for a BA is determined by both aptitude and merit.

So, as per basic eligibility criteria to get admission in BA, your cousin can join BA if the total percentage is more than 50%. Pass factor is okay for your situation.
