DTE
Hey Mrinal
You will be given two ranks, that is a common rank ad a quota rank. While your counselling may be done on the basis of your CRL, your seat allotment will be done on the basis of your quota rank (incase your quota rank secures you a seat which your common rank does not).
At the time of seat allotment your category quota will be considered.

Hello,
The answer to this question actually depends on you and what feel would be good colleges for you,for example-
1)If you prefer colleges who are old and have been established since long you can research such colleges and fill them first.
2)If you prefer grading or ranking of colleges you can fill colleges with good ranking higher.
3)If you prefer colleges which offer top placements you can fill the top colleges from all over mp first.
4)If you prefer colleges which are nearer to where you live you can fill them first
5)If you prefer colleges with good infrastructure you can put private or semi-government colleges first and then government colleges.
6)Some colleges have better facilities for computer branch whereas some have better facilities for electrical branch. So choosing colleges based on what branch you want and which college offers good facilities for the branch you want can also be of high priority.
According to me IET DAVV, Indore ; SGSITS, Indore ;JEC, Jabalpur ;MITS, Gwalior are some good colleges overall but in the end it depends on your preferences.
All the best!
Firstly this is the official site for you to ask any queries

As you have not given your marks or rank but then also for the colleges options you have given here according to that if considering for college then you should place first SGSITS,DAVV,JABALPUR ENGINEERING COLLEGE,UJJAIN,SAMRAT ASHOK VIDISHA,RGPV bhopal. It is placed in the order of government colleges to private colleges. And about branch then it depends on you which branch you have interest and you have not anything fixed then you can place main core streams and CSE/IT at top of colleges preference like given above.

Hey
The round 1 seat allotment of csab is to begin from 13th November,2020. For detals on csab you can click on https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/csab .
I will suggest you to take the seat in DTE and if they allow then you can leave the institute (paying whatever fine they impose) and join csab if you get a seat. Do not risk your seat in DTE. All the best.
Dear aspirant
First of all I am explaining you in short the rule of choice filling.During choice filling you can put any no of choices there and sort them according to your facvourable interest . In every round you will be allotted only one department of one college . According to your sorted choice list the top most available choice with vacant seats will be given to you . If you are happy with that then you lock that and get admission . Otherwise you upgrade. If any of the preceding choice's seat becomes vacant then you will get than otherwise you get the allotted seat given to you from the previous round. That's how it works. So choice filling and seat allotment is very vital.
So if you have already selected upgradation then you can't take admission now . Because if you get a new allotted seat then the allotted seat of the previous round will of be no use .
Admission can be done if you confirm the allotted seat given to you. Only then you will get seat allottement result and if don't upgrade further . Then you go to your respective institution with all the documents and get admitted.
Hope this helps.
