So you can use DU College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different colleges of DU :-
Yes, there will be reduction between 1 - 2.5 % for stream change. It follows in this manner like if a student who had Physics, Math, Chemistry and English in class 12th and he wants to have a seat for BA program in which he is eyeing for a humanities subject, there would be deduction upto 1% marks of the students from what he got in class 12th. This type of deduction will be applicable and for two subjects changes deduction upto 2% and if more than two subjects changes deduction upto 2.5%
Hope this will help you
Thankyou
Hello,
The University of Delhi, informally known as Delhi University, is a collegiate public central university, located in New Delhi, India.
With 85%( general category ) if you wish to get admission in north campus then it is difficult .But you wil get admission in du either in south campus or an off campus college , top colleges in south campus like venkateshwara , lsr also hve high cut offs.
You have chances for getting a seat in bsc mathematics at delhi university. But you need to wait till 3rd/4th counselling as the 1st and 2nd cutoff are usually high. Also you might get a college in south campus as the cut off for north campus is usually higher.
Do have patience and my advise is to take admission in very first list and later you can switch to other college.

Hi sneha,

I'll provide you with last years cut off list for these 2 domains. This is the 8th cut off list
Acharya narendra dev college
Bsc botany - 83.6%
Bsc life sciences - 84.5%
Bhaskaracharya college of applied sciences
Bsc life sciences - closed
Bscbotany - 86%
Daulat ram college for women
Bsc life sciences - 85%
Bsc botany - closed.
Deen dayal upadhyay college
Bsc botany - 87%
Bsc life sciences - 83.45 %
Deshbandhu college
Bsc life sciences: 83%
Bsc botany : closed
Dyal singh college
Bsc botany : 84%
Bsc life sciences : 84%
So, definitely you will get some college at the release of 7th or 8th cut off list according to merit.
Just keep a track of it and don't let the cut off list go, because they won't give you admission if your marks are even much above the cut off. They just take in marks around the cut off.
All the best!
Hello gopigandham!!!
Hope you are doing good!!! Generally du doesn't provide hostels. But the hostels available are generally provided to students who are from other and distant states. So yes if hostel are provided by your opted college then you stand a good chance!!!
