Subject: Conquering Child Labour: A Collective Responsibility

Dear Editor,

As I write this letter, I am reminded of the countless young minds that are being robbed of their childhood due to the scourge of child labour. It is a pressing issue that demands our collective attention and action.

Child labour is a blatant violation of children's rights, forcing them to work in hazardous conditions, sacrificing their education, health, and well-being. According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), there are over 152 million child labourers worldwide, with many more vulnerable to exploitation.

However, I am heartened to see that there are many individuals, organizations, and governments working tirelessly to combat child labour. From awareness campaigns to rehabilitation programs, efforts are being made to rescue and reintegrate child labourers into mainstream society.

As a responsible citizen, I urge everyone to join hands in this fight against child labour. We must:

- *Report cases of child labour*: If you suspect or witness child labour, report it to the authorities immediately.

- *Support organizations working against child labour*: Donate, volunteer, or spread the word about organizations fighting child labour.

- *Demand policy changes*: Encourage your elected representatives to strengthen laws and policies against child labour.

Together, we can create a world where children are free to learn, play, and grow without the burden of labour. Let us conquer child labour and restore the childhood of millions

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

Thanks

Subject: Frequent Power Outages in Our Area

Sir/Madam,

I'm writing to call attention to the persistent issue of frequent load shedding in our neighbourhood, which has caused significant interruptions in daily life. Power outages have been increasingly common in recent weeks, hurting both the residential and business sectors. These power outages frequently occur without prior warning or a clear timetable, causing inconvenience for people, particularly in the nights when electricity use is at its height.

The continual interruptions have made it difficult for families to perform basic tasks like cooking, learning, and utilising important appliances. Students, in particular, are encountering enormous obstacles in completing homework and preparing for exams, while corporations are dealing with delays and loss of productivity.

Furthermore, power outages generate safety issues because lamps frequently go out, making it dangerous to move around in the dark. The irregular power supply has not only interrupted our everyday life, but it has also added to the people' feelings of irritation and powerlessness.

I request that the appropriate authorities look into the situation as soon as possible and ensure a steady and reliable power supply. The entire community would much appreciate timely and efficient action to resolve this situation.

Thank you for considering this critical problem.
Yours sincerely,

Write a letter to the editor of the assam tribune guwahati informing him about the problem face by the residents of your locality due to the lack of parking lot also give one suggestion to solve the problem

Kanishka kaushikii 5th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

I can provide you with an example letter and you can make amendments as per your wish,

"Dear Editor,

I am writing to express the growing concern of the residents of [Your Locality] regarding the acute shortage of parking spaces. The lack of adequate parking facilities has led to a myriad of problems, including:

  • Traffic congestion: The narrow roads in our locality are often clogged with vehicles, leading to traffic jams and inconvenience for commuters.
  • Damage to property: Vehicles parked haphazardly on the roads often encroach upon private property, causing damage to walls, fences, and gardens.
  • Safety hazards: The lack of designated parking areas can create safety risks, especially for pedestrians and children.

We urge the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to address this pressing issue. One possible solution is to convert unused or underutilized public spaces into dedicated parking areas . By creating designated parking zones, we can alleviate traffic congestion, reduce damage to property, and improve the overall quality of life for residents.

We hope that this letter will bring attention to the urgent need for parking facilities in our locality. We look forward to a positive response from the authorities and a resolution to this problem.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
[Your Address]"

KOMAL SINHA 22nd Feb, 2024

Hii

Answering your question, first you should have mentioned if it was your regular school exam or boards exam. If it was your school exam, then you can talk to your teacher and you can be given marks. But if it was your boards exam then it totally depends on the person who is going to evaluate your paper. If the person is considerate, he or she may give you marks but if not so you may loose marks in those particular questions. Just hope for the best.
