There is of ofcourse competition in any competitive exam but you only require one seat  and you have as much of a chance of getting in like any other candidate. If you are planning to give the exam I would advise you to be thorough with the basics of the language and countries to which the language belongs. The “cafeteria system” in EFLU is a system of pursuing your desired degree by selecting the papers you desire based on your own interest. Strict syllabus isn't imposed on you. There are choices of papers available and you are allowed to choose minimum 3 papers and maximum 5 papers per semester. Each paper carries 5 credits. And by the end of the 4th semester, you are expected to have studied 16 papers at the least and have earned 80 credits.
