how many volts of current is equal to 1unit

IMran Mir 5th Jan, 2020

Hello Sunil!

I hope you are having a nice day!

I would like to inform you that 1 unit= 1 kilowatthour(kWh) power consumed by a load per phase=applied voltage to Load per phase*current taken by load per phase* Load power factor per phase energy consumed by load(watt hour)=power consumed by load(watt)*time duration in which which the power is consumed(hour). So in one unit, for example 500 watt motor with 1 power factor can run for 2 hours as or a 100 watt light bulb can stay lightened for 10 hours since 100w*10hr=1000 watt hour=1kWh.

So keep studying and keep growing.

All the best for your future!

Thanks.
